When I became a stan of SB19,.. I've lost my appetite for "looks and visuals" in pop/boybands groups. Yung bigbang and 2ne1, they would not have even passed the k-beauty standards which in a very UNFORTUNATE circumstance, also became the standards of asian beauty preference. But, ironically, those groups (especiall 2ne1) became the pioneer of introducing the K-POP genre to the world. They were not looked at and looked up because of their looks but because of their "talent" and MUSICALITY. And their music is a league of their own which captured the attention of fans all around the world. So, "pleasing personality" on the resume doesn't really matter to me that much anymore. It can be a contributing factor but not the one that will make you commit to an artist. What I am after is the talent. PURE and raw innate talent, especially sa vocals. 2nd is the talent for dancing and the way you express ur self in the camera. And for this young lad, I'm definitely routing on.
