now this track is what Dishonored represents. I remember walking around, appreciating the architecture, the props...every single corner was filled to the detail. I love Dishonored so much, I'd just spend forever running around into the houses, go up stairs, go into rooms, shops, walk around the sidewalks, admiring everything around me. God this atmosphere means so much to me.
The first part is more immersive and realistic. Karnaca however is too beautiful - to the point you actually stop believing such a place could exist. Take it as both compliment and critique. My hope is Dishonored 3 would take a bigger example from the first part, rather than from the second.
I’d kill , for a the smallest chance of sitting on the window frame above where you first meet Mindy, the one that looks out onto the dockyards. There’s a diary on the wheel chair next to it. Sometimes I like to imagine myself as the person who broke their back , sometimes I just like to watch them all working below, not knowing how lucky they are. Then I get ripped back into this FUCKING. INSANI
I agree. I've come to realize this is what matters the most to me in video games, aprt from the more casual stuff (Tetris, Mario Karte etc whcih I love for other reasons). I even didn't want to complete some of hte levels of Dishonored 2 because the atmosphere was so good. I can't remember another gaming experience that topped this one in my recent years.
That is awesome to see so much love for these games I worked on. On Dishonored 2, with my friend Frederic Devanlay, we put all our passion designing everything, but specially for atmosphere & ambience, it was one of my top priority. I really apreciate a good visual immersion but even more if the sound is top notch ;)
yeah i felt like the story in dishonored 2 could have been a little more interesting..but i did appreciate the level design in dishonored 2, it was as good as the first so the gameplay was still fun
I feel asleep to this earlier today. It was super relaxing and in the moments I woke up in the middle of my nap, I got to keep my eyes closed and enjoy all of the noises. Aventa is my favourite district and I love the aesthetic of it, absolutely gorgeous and thank you for uploading this! ❤️

Is there a trainer or cheat you use to get this footage? I'm looking for something like that to just be a ghost and explore and maybe catch some of the NPC interactions I might have missed in my playthroughs.

Dishonored 2 has one of the best if not the best ambiences of video games.

I play on Playstation so can't activate cheats but I'm sure there are console commands if you're on PC.
