This is a good tool. It works and chops food evenly without emulsifying (making a mushy liquid) the contents like power food processors do. Their are several versions of this food processor. Some have serrated blades. Some have two blades, some have three blades. I have used them all, the three curved blade version is the best. I own three of the curved three blade style. Problem is you have to ask the seller which version they have. I use mine once or twice a week to make salsa. Each of mine last 2 to 3 years but eventually break. For the price usually under $25.00 it is a good buy.
I just bought one of these for $39 in Woodland Hills, CA. Disappointed. It's ok for soft veggies. Would not cleanly slice Roma tomatoes. (Boerner's V-Slicer is great for that.) Making chicken salad? Forget this thing for chopping your cooked chicken breast. Get a Black &* Decker Handi Chopper Plus (1.5 cups). Works great and what's good about it is that when it's running you can pick it up and shake it and you will get a great chop.
