For long range monster attacks, the best way to counter it is by waiting for the monster to open its mouth then release the hold. Works for almost all monster breath attacks

it helped me changing the settings to 60 fps while combat. not every smartphone can do it but it feels more like rise in the timing there.

I live in Greece , if you are on the road using internet by your company it has a lot of lags... Only with (home) wifi we have the stability to see or to understand the window between the hit of the monster.... 😞

There are urgent quest for every monster, so you could technically farm practice on every single monster throughout your play throughs

I think the best advice is like you said, sometimes you just have to go for it. At least you'll go through the monster or get a lucky invincibility frame. Really interesting in the mechanic of that hip at check at 06:32, since you didn't get damaged, clearly he hit you, but the second iai slash didn't go off.
Really wanna see footage of someone iai slashing a roar, still haven't been able to do it lol

Haven't tried it yet. But I tried evade extender and it doesn't hit you where you should have been hit by an attack

Its sad to see LS friends need much more skill to wield the iai slash timing, while we sns 's backhop too late, block will trigger unlike LS straight eating punish. LS aerial helmbreaker is same as sns aerial shield bash : they are both huge commitment move that can only be used on monster's huge opening, and powerful when they are performed successful!
