I’ve stopped participating in many celebrations with pagan overtones, Halloween, Easter, Saint Patrick, etc.

Unfortunatly my daughter was practicing with the dance group for this party. She will dance thurday. I can’t take her out now. Please I ask you to be praying for us. That will be our last junine party!

omg, i was at the saint john festivaL here in dk yesterday, but just to see how they do it and nothing eLse!? 😢😢😢
It doesn't matter. Saint John rejects such festivals in his name.
I appreciate the work and it was quite beautiful. However, conflating doing something like having a bonfire when some pagans at some point in time had bonfires I fear is greatly missing the point. The passages share from the bible are clearly warning against participating in pagan spiritual ceremonies. They also warn against trying to serve God is ritual and also pagan gods in ritual. That is absolutely a different thing than avoiding having a celebration in the same month as previous pagan celebrations. Its different than avoiding running because the pagan aztecs were known for running. Its different than setting fire to wood because also pagans did in a spiritual ceremony. Its about serving or worshiping other gods. Things can appear a certain way from the outside, but intention matters. That is actually why we are called not to judge. That doesnt mean we dont judge actions as right or wrong, but that only God can judge a mans heart because we are insufficiently knowledgable. He is omnipotent and knows our hearts.
Religion and government mix .
I can tell you right now there’s nothing Christian or even permissible about this June bullshit that we have now.
Rome is far ahead of us mixing paganism with religion its now known as catholic .
