So im a dirt flat kart driver and coming off the corner we come up a bit higher and stay there, then we enter the corner just like Chase is doing. So maybe Nashinator can try and be a bit higher on the straights. But other than that great driving.🤙👍
I think the next lower gear from where you started will give more rpms and drive off. So should've gone down one notch instead of up. And just a touch more stagger to help with the center loose. Chase did great with what Dad gave him. Get em next time little man!
Hi timbo awesome video of nashanaitor as always. Keep up the awesome videos of him. I'm proud of him and I'm proud to support him. Your friend and supporter. Jonathon Taylor.
He still needs to open up his corner entry or lift off the throttle earlier because he's over shooting the apex. I'm not picking on him I know he's just a kid. It's just a pointer from a former Kart racer.
GooD job Chase, and that ping pong ball deal was crazy, , In racing it’s Murphy’s law, and you need a defense stance ,in your driving style,( have an out plan if they get over in your lane) thanks BigAl California ,,, praise Jesus Christ grace amen 🙏
Slack offers mini gears so you can utilize the smaller drivers for torque but still gear the car up. Additionally have you searched through you tires to get your stagger right but using tires that size an inch or 2 larger can alsoncreat more straight away speed but not hurt as much as a gear change.
Need more stager on the rear to keep it from breaking lose center off and drop the gear down one from what you had in it for his heat race I say the tire u put on the rear put less stager in it
Hey Tim, could the beginning of the corner (looks just a tick snug) be causing the issue in the middle? I was raised that you start at the beginning of the turn to make decisions on adjustments. If it’s tight at the beginning it swings loose in the middle. It may not feel as comfortable but may be faster , then you can work on sidebite with roll centers to make it comfortable again. Just my opinion and thoughts.
Hey check out factory QRC out of California Jimmy's Ellage (I believe I just butchered his last name) owner. He can help your sons issues with winged Kart. He has a very awesome group of people that he trained personally that can get the speed you need on the different conditions on track. He helped beginners to 600 open class. He has got more trophies and more recognition for what he can do to help Chase win a lot more race's. He sells parts, motors dino tuned, all type of frames. You deserve the best and he is the best hands down. He has karts racing in North Carolina at Millbridge speedway. Knoxville Iowa, and the western states people trust him very much he will not steer you wrong. Number 7 garage racing you need him not joking.
On a go gart if you're running the same track you really shouldn't have to change the gear if you have the same engine setup. We used to put our carts on scales just like the big cars. If your front geometry is within chassis spec you should be ok. Biggest changes that IN my opinion should be changed is wheel spacing and stagger possibly on any corner depending on track conditions. Find out what rpm you should be running the motor at and keep it there and set the kart up around that. Not sure how old his motor is but it definitely sounded lazy all night. Looks like the same track he always runs so if you keep notes go back to last yr or early this year with the setup. His motor usually sounds more wound tight when he was winning and running for the win in the past.. just my opinion im no professional just someone that has had some experience in that world.. LoL!
Drop it back down to the setup you had in the heat because I feel had he had that set up with his ability to chase grooves the way he does what he was saying loose through center woulda corrected itself with less fuel load as race went on. With his heat setup he was a podium car. That gear change confused me. Just because the leader was turning 14.3's doesn't mean Chase should be. Maybe that kid's engines were built differently. Chase wasn't any different lap time wise than he is any other time. It's a learning curve bro no one did anything wrong. Ya learn together. You had to make changes to make the boy faster and you did what you felt was the answer. No shame in that game homie. Do these karts have weight jackers on them?

Let’s go chase , gooo get them fun races, thanks BigAl California.
In heat he said loose coming off. When I raced go karts messing a little bit with the caster camber ratio and stagger.
He’s doing an awesome job!

If he is running an LO206 it needs to hit the rev limiter near the end of the straight. Need more grunt coming out of the turn.

Poor Nash his cart needs more giddy up and Go! Go Nash!

THE NASHINATORRRR IS BACK BABY 😎
Keep digging Chase. You will get there. I’m sure your dad will get the improvements you need to run up front

Move the top of the LF spindle forward to take some caster out if it's loose in the middle. Tho to me, it looked like it's pushing.
Yea I thought the same thing but when he hit the right line it look lose center off
Good job buddy
Time for a new CREWCHIEF! ONID! 😱😁😝🤪🤣👍👍🇺🇸
That is why they call it, "THE HUNT FOR THE FRONT!" 😁🤪👍👍🇺🇸
You can move the left rear out more to tighten the kart up and move it in to free it up

Can you put spacers on the rear in space the tires different to get you a different offset so you can tighten it up or loosen it up that way
Also I would start kart and wire brush the back tires or if allowed prep them
He gonna be one hellve a wheel man.
Learnin:)

Put the gear back try lower air pressures
