Uttarakhand: The Most Beautiful Places You've Never Heard Of

I walk into the Kaudia forest which is at a stone's throw distance away from the Club Mahindra Resort, Kanatal in Uttarakhand. A beautiful alpine forest walk which brings you really close to the nature and gives the opportunity to spot lots of birds and if really lucky may be some deers or ghorals(as per locals). Just a few metres in the forest and you get an amazing picturesque 360 degree panaromic view of the Shivalik Himalayan range in its full grandeur. I found some of the names on the peaks seen. Wake up early in the morning and set out on this trail, you wont need any guide as a path is there but if you really want to spot some wildlife go into the interiors of the jungle through smaller undefined paths. While walking I spotted some flycatchers and pheasants. It was indeed a wonderful experience and would love to visit Kanatal again. Please watch in highest HD settings if bandwidth and data permits.
