I love learning from real ranchers! Thanks
JUST LOVE the 1960s rock-n-roll snippets and the freeze-frame color-by-number-like snapshots!! Makes me want to do the “jerk!!” LOVE the way you “show” the information instead of just talking about it…KEEP ‘ER ROLLIN’!!
Thank you so much! 👍
Love it!
GREAT VIDEO TRININTY....... THANK YOU!!!! LIVING VICAROUSLY IN North Carolina
I have Border Collies mixed with Australian Shepard's and Australian Shepard's for the ranch. the BC do the "lay on your back pose" . It seems they do that sometimes when they they are in a relaxing thought process-- humm, I am getting ready for the trail . They are extremely smart and hard working dogs.
Yes. They are very smart. The back pose must be some kind of pre-workout meditation. I agree. 😄
"Shepherds". 🐾🇺🇸🐕🦺🦮
@@dogswithjobs2531thank you--corrected
Love the ride you take us on thx i really get to see that kind of life it’s awesome
As I sit in my cubicle for ten hours tomorrow… I’ll be wishing I was a Rancher.
Love it all - stunning in its beauty.
Really enjoy the videos of working cattle and horses. The bear info is interesting. Montana is a beautiful place to work cattle from a horse. I also like the dogs. Dogs do most of work. I think without the dogs, moving a large herd with three horseman would be a much more difficult task. Thanks for sharing the videos.
Miss when the cows would be bawling. And then the Cavs would respond. Maybe someday my dream will come true.🐴
Trinity, thanks for letting us ride in our saddle beside you , another great show.
your videos are so addicting, you have a great gift
I love watching these videos. Thank you Trinity for videos about real Cowboys. I’ve learned a lot about Ranching that I would never have known.
What a great video and thank you for bringing us along. You really put a lot of work in editing and it shows!
Thank you. Yes. I put a lot of time into my editing! That’s for sure. Thank you for noticing. 😊
@@LifeintheWest I tell ya what… I’m a Baby Boomer, and I recently turned 70. A a child I always wanted to grow up and be a Cowboy! But the more mature I grew, I realized that maybe I didn’t even need to ‘grow up’ to become a cowboy… just choose to be a cowboy, and remain a child at heart. Obviously that didn’t work. I didn’t even have a horse! Nor cowboy boots. Or a saddle. And I didn’t chew tobacco either. So now I figure I’m gonna try to a Cowboy… without any specific knowledge, or talent!
Hey… I guess I know that ain’t gonna work. But can’t I just pretend I’m a cowboy? Or will the REAL Cowboys get pissed off and more or less beat the crap out of me?
Great underground salesman!
Thank you for making these videos!!! Lets me relive some of my younger life as a young cowgirl (on the run). I wish I could of stayed wild and free!!! I loved the Cowgirl life! Thank you! God bless!
The doggie pose.. my Shepherd Husky mix sleeps like that all the time. I totally cracked the first time I saw her😂.
She has been crazy airing everything out poses haha.. anyway thanks for sharing the video, those pups are amazing, the marsh is crazy horrible.. but gosh the land there..God's county for sure!!
Having had 7 Auzzies ( 1 is Gus) at one time, they are lighting quick! Loyal, loving, protective!
Just found your content today and LOVE it. You make it look easy but I know that it’s not, so thank you for gritting it out so we can get a glimpse of another slice of life.
I can't say how much your videos fill my heart with joy! As a true outdoor gal...it is my happy spot....What an absolutely Beautiful place. Hard work...pure air..scenery to die for..truly Gods country. Sure pray it stays that way.
I am so glad that my videos bring you joy.
Just wanted to say, I've enjoyed many of these videos!!
Lots of black eyed baldie cattle, my favorite and dogs with heeler in them. Again my favorites. Great to be along.
Thx for the nice day you shared.
Thanks for taking us with you to show us a once in a lifetime ride (for many of us) and a look into how cattle are moved. Never in my life did I know there were bog grounds there. And the beaver do their jobs holding the water so the grass stays green and lush. Really wonderful!
Also enjoyed seeing those little bulls stand up up you - nature is wonderful!
That was an awesome video and great work in some beautiful country.
At 61 my ass hurts just watching. Now I'm going to find a nice thick tenderloin for dinner.
Cheers' keep the faith
Dean
I love that saddle sound. Kind of a squeak / crunch
Calibar is a good boy thanks for the fun video
I really love the sound of a creaking saddle as well.
I cant believe how beautiful this area is. Greetings from germany 👍
our biggest ranch 'Eden Ranch', here where i live in Texas, was just cut in half when the county put in a bypass around the city. hated to see that. ive always felt a sense of pride whenever i catch a glimpse of a cowboy hauling his horse in a trailer at the end of a long days work. sounds like your nose is all stopped up today. sorry bout that. i throughly enjoyed coming along with yall. ❤️
So enjoyed this! Thanks so much for sharing
Kalibar (sp?) has really come a long way in the last year.
I love your production quality. This could easily be on something like Discovery, or similar. Thanks!
Yes. Calibar is really doing well.
And thank you. That is quite a compliment.
🫣 I dont know about Calibar. I get so nervous when you are on him. He seriously spooked at the drain pipe
What a great way to spend Sunday afternoon. Happy 4th of July. Thanks for the ride along.
Trinity that was another excellent video thank you for bringing those two videos to us such beautiful country. But it was kind of rough riding out there. Those dogs were amazing I didn’t know they would go after bears that’s amazing. Trinity you did a great job heading them cattle. Mike and Reed are awesome too👍
Thanks for the great ride Calibar & Trinity. I hope he doesn't leave you in the mountains again like he did before. You were right to buck him off ! Gettin' on like there is no tomorrow expecting you'd be ok with that without any preparation 😉
Thank you for taking me on this drive, and explaining!! That was awesome!
Gorgeous country, thanks for taking us along
Love the dogs! They are so smart! And so right about the horses. 😂❤

Such a great entertaining video not easy work but you all knew what your doing and wit your horse and dog crew it went very well Thanks for sharing 👍
I have family in a small town not far from there in bynum Montana. I spent 2 weeks out there last year an Absolutely loved it. Definitely different from where I live in the adirondack mountains in upstate New York.
Second vid is just as good as the first, most enjoyable to watch, I don't think there would be any reason to complain about the office, thanks for sharing this one with us.
He's a great horse! Especially for only 5 years old. Shows what good miles and wet saddle pads can make
Thank you for sharing another great video and have a blessed 4th of July 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Good stuff Trinity... I always like seeing cattle movement and how different ranches do it. Thanks for sharing and I can't wait to see what's next.
I just found your channel today n i love it, I'm in bed with covid so I'm beng watching. I really love what you're doing, i grew up riding horses and living the country/farm life.
This bring back a lot of memories. You did a great job!
Horses have their own personalities. Some go a little wild come spring, but most ranch horses aren't a problem.
What a great video man thanks for sharing with us! Great inspiration to many people thanks again. Love your channel brother.
Absolutely stunning country! Such a privilege to work in that kind of place. Love my Wag bars! About time to order another pack!
Awesome, great scenery, bogs up on top of hills covered with green grass , oh-oh watch where you are going !
I try to keep up with your vids , also please keep on showing the wrong going on in our country !
I have had & currently have Border Collie & your friends Borders could easily be trained to do more than they are doing. Ie to go look for more cows that are in the brush ; round em up , go get that one bring her back ,etc .
Might want to look into the - short haired Border out of Cal , don’t get so many burrs . Thanks
Love all this video. It would be nice to hear more history from the rancher and his family or about his family. Some spots were hard to hear.
Another great video of ranch life in Montana. I always enjoy seeing the beautiful Montana big sky country. I thoroughly enjoy your channel Trinity.
Man!! Awesome video!! I sure do enjoy em!!!! Montana, Wyoming and the Black Hills are my favs!!!
Thanks Trinity!!!!
Harmony
Those cattle are sneakers hiding in the brush LMAO
Sure wish I could spend summer in this beautiful state, lucky man!!😊
Have enjoyed your trialing the cows a lot. Thank

LOL THIS LITTLE YEARING BULL AT THE END OF THE VIDEO WAS KINDA FLIPPING YOU OFF LOL
Yes. 😄 He was saying “Oh, yeah? Make me!”
Outstanding video. Thanks
very enjoyable and informative videos....
I have a few head of cattle and you're right, they can be really loud. I only have 10 acres in Indiana so I'm not driving them lol
Nice way to end the day.
I know when working ranches some would have those Blue healers .
Great herd dogs!!
And dare not try taking out of bed of truck if one not know the dog🙄
Love the old time music on fiddle!
Great video again! Thanks kindly for sharing.

BIG SKY,💯😎
Great content as usual. Ever thought about going to see the Welkers in Shelby ? Two somewhat different vocations but both use the land. Just a thought .....blessings
What is Welkers?
@@LifeintheWest www.youtube.com/@WelkerFarms
It is beautiful there
thank u
Great video!
I love your saddle
Great Video, Thank you, sir!
Great country, good looking herd of cows and calves. Makes me miss my cattle days. Course that is why cattle men do it.....not for the money!😁
Yeah, my boss owns 2,000 head. We sold off 1,000 head. I don't mind having to have ppl yell for me to hear. In this case I would've stop my horse or even four wheelers and tell him to yell at me.
Even tho in my opinion. You get the idea of catching cattle over the years. I even understand the plan at this point. 14:06
trinity, that was so engaging. felt like i went along with the drive. thank you for addressing the cattle dogs. i assumed that the big livestock guardian dogs would be a better choice but i don't think so now. they are not physically made to do the low to the ground fast endurance work like these cattle dogs. so thanx for that. i always like listening to your narratives because you always talk about some subject that would be a great fireside discussion. so i found one in this video: you mentioned it doesn't serve a purpose to put wild horses on good grazing land because they do not give a return to the humans. i agree but...here we go again with humans deciding which animals have purpose, positive purpose, that benefits humans. one view would be: as christians if we believe god created all animals on earth who is human to determine which species are to populate the earth and where and which do not. that is a conundrum. but i can see and understand from a food production standpoint and businessman viewpoint why your explanation/commentary is absolutely valid. the older i keep getting, i always seem to find myself believing that during our lifetime we are constantly trying to answer that one question in every aspect of human life: to be or not to be? and most of the time i'm stumped and unsure. much respect for your friends cattle dogs. it was amazing watching them work the cattle. i watch a woman in ontario canada who raises sheep in an massively huge indoor structure. she has an australian sheep dog and it is so fascinating to see that dog's need to work the sheep. how these dogs are born to do this work with a human's help to teach them how to do it is utterly amazing. in one of your videos when you take calibar out to work can you show us how he loads and unloads from a trailer? again, looking forward to your next video. god bless!
Oh the memories thanks 😊😊
Great editing too.
Thank you sir! I work hard at the editing.
Even more special is the added horse training
Loved this video! You are truly blessed to live that life! Love the music at the end! Do you have any info on the music, it goes so well with the video! Thanks for sharing!
All the music I use is from Artlist.io.
Best way to avoid bears when hiking is to have a dog with a bell running up and down the trail with you and the bears will get away for that before you even even see them.
Usually true.
@@LifeintheWest No one thing works every time but if you are hiking you are food and a dog beats a can of bear spray and a gun in the hands of most ppl almost every time.
Another great video
Awesome video, I know it's hard work, but it's a great way of life.
Hi Trinity!! Thank you for your videos.
Just one question: wouldn't be easier for you to have yor gopro camera on your head?
GOD BLESS
I actually do have one on my hat. I just think it makes it more interesting when the camera angle changes often.
This is very interesting to me. I’ve always loved the ranch life. What I meant was watching others live the ranch life! Lol once I learned to ride a horse perhaps I can herd some cattle! 😂😂 laugh even harder.
Question: is a crick and a creek the same thing? How much land does this rancher have? Your horse is a beautiful animal! Thanks for bringing us along on the ride.
I would be interested in what/how you put horse away , as in what water feed hay , i would think no feed until later , just hay and water , or just turned out on good grass with a nice sandy place to roll 😁
lots of finesse to this all those damn fence gates lol
Absolutely loved this!! Do they need volunteers? Amazing to get to see another side of life. ❤
Pennsylvania mountains we have Black Bears they stay away for the most part! Let's go Brandon
Have you ever tried using Kangals? I know 4 or 5 of those with spiked collars are immune to death.
I take my horses to the mountains....for their pleasure and mine.
I own a McNabb he's full blood. Omg. If you have time to work a cattle dog 20 minutes a day in training and know what to do to train them right. 😅 he's my smartest cattle dog. Fully trained.
He's actually a stud dog in my opinion but he works very very well.
I've clocked him running 38 mph.
His breed is for rugged land. Cliffs etc. He'll be running 25 mph if I had to guess. Then drop straight off my 40ft cliff. A actually cliff.
I thought "man I just lost 2 years of training 20 minutes every day. And 850$ 😅
I ride up there. He's waiting on me and watching the cattle at the bottom 😅😅
Trained to (left, right, walk, 2ft behind the cattle while their walking, push if a mean cow. Watch, stay, weave, my favorite is (whoop their azz) yes I trained him to that. He won't let off tell I say. We'll do that to ware out the cow or cows. He knows gates too which isn't my first dog but he's my first to have ocd trained.
I can have in where I can't see him or the cattle and I'll have him do his job with no issues. He's 3 years and 4 months old and his name is okie. He's from Oklahoma and I live in Oklahoma so he's a okie
Edit; that's a smart dog. Don't have to tell him much or anything what's next. They know what's next by what your doing. ❤ 15:59
I guess the ranchers in the Philipsburg and Drummond areas prefer motorcycles and ATV's .
Hey, Trinity!
I know you will never see this but I really hope you do. I just wanted to know if you have any job oportunities that I could do ounce im older and just was wondering if you could get back to me! I hope you have an amazing day, and God bless!
