This is truly inspiring. I spend hours whining about being unable to make it to good colleges. I often doubt my competencies. On top of that, the toppers' talk initiative turns out to be more demotivating than inspiring since every other topper is from reputed institutions and good backgrounds. It is when candidates like these show up that the one feels truly motivated. Learning to not let my past define me but how I treat my present. Thank you. And all the very best.

IIT are for those who are research oriented and genius in mathematics and logical thinking. how people can compare IITians and ias those were different no more related to one another.

I was thinking myself as an average student getting 65% in X ,62% in XII and 55% in BTech 😂😂 Sadly with those percentage he calls himself average, then I must be in the below average category.
Still you can, just work hard in right direction and be serious while doing so. Numbers doesn't create personality , its past 10 years of your doing that makes your personality and upsc only select good personality. All the best bro!
Unfortunately realty yeh hai ki 80-75% is average. Yeh percentages hai percentiles nhi. Difference samjho. Mere khud 88/68/58 hai scores. Whenever I went for an IIM interview I was termed as a below average student. That's just the harsh truth.
Watch the story of shivram IAS, it is more inspired than this one. He got only 35% in his all academies, he is from Karnataka, and he become from 0 to IAS ,it is very inspiring .
