exactly, that statistic is bogus, I don't know if you made it up or just didn't realize it before posting. And all 7 billion people aren't guitarists... I know at least 100 people that AREN'T guitarists. I just looked up what percent of the world population are guitarists and its around 0.6% of the total population, thereby giving that statistic even less holding. Even if it was 3% of guitarists, I still wouldn't believe it. Because that means out of every 100 guitarists 3 of them would be able.
