Cali is really good at simplifying her English and speaking clearly!
She used to be an English teacher in Japan, I believe.
Bruh I kid you not, I subbed like half an hour ago. Was not expecting another video on this channel after that break but you love to see it, keep it up and welcome back!
thanks so much!
Same i was watching mumei and gura clip
These animations are always great. I love seeing when you upload!
Dad is so adorkable.
"I want to show you.... My shoes."
*Awkward pause*
Glad to see you back. Nice video
thanks so much!
If you don't get it, in Japanese pantsu is the word for panties and the "u" is largely muted. It does in fact mean pants rather than underwear. But in Japan the loanword pants was taken to mean underwear rather than trousers. There's other strange instances like this as well, like if you asked for a napkin at a restaurant you're not asking for something to wipe your hands with but a tampon pad lmao.
*in, ahem, American english, yes. In british english, no, we have things called trousers.
do ya'll really be walkin around calling your shit trousers? I used to listen to Ricky Gervais on xfm and they would say things like "underpants" and "pants" all the time
@@OsakaBancho We really be do, yes
Ahhh I loved this stream. And to think, Lui still uses some of the slang that Calli taught her to this day. Thanks for the animation, and thanks for bringing up the memory of this stream!
Lui nee looks so pretty, i mean everything looks good xD
nice animation. cute callui. calli should have more collabs with jp, that would be so good.
Amazing work as always!
You are back! Yaaay.
Cute Calli & Lui
I love Calli and Lui. Theyre both super funny. And yes the pants are very nice 👌 her hips don't lie
Sasuga Lui-nee, she smells Dad's foot without hesitation xD
Dad panicking is so adorable 🤣🤣
Pants : KALM
Pantsu : *PANIK*
I mean what would you do if I told you I like your underwear ?
Great animation, nice to have you back!
I notice great improvements in your works. Good job
I love the addition of the ( パンツ 🩲? ) thought bubble to show why Rui was confused.
So happy to see you back!
It's been a long long time. Glad to see you again. Nice video XD
"Hey! Hey! Hey Calli, HEY! HEY!"
"Yeah, what?"

"OH MY GOD, THE BRI'ISH, I COMPLETELY FORGOT!"
Calli: "In English, pants does not mean underpants."
No Calli! That's a whole can of worms you've just opened up for other English speakers. 😆
If you called trousers"pants" in the UK, you will be made fun of. And visa versa.
“Lui-Pog-Struggling-Pog”
Very very nice 👍👍👌
Return of the king!
That's very good animation, human
cutest collab ever 🥰
Calli you're always talking about horses but i never see you ride one...(?)
YOU'RE BACK WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ?😂!!!!
In my country, if you say "pants" people will assume you mean "underwear", so that would have thrown me for a loop too.
🙏 *Wow, Cute!*
pants in English
is under ware in Japanese
:3
Ah im pretty sure they said clothes not close but fair mistake
Wait, did Lui have a better English grammar than Calli there?
umm goood smell, frraaavorr...
is that franky reference??
She says that in English pants does not mean underpants but in English English (the version used in England) it very much is. Remember this if you ever come over here, fair travellers. Do not refer to your trousers as "pants", people will get uncomfortable
Well, I guess this proves that Calli isn't British.
I showed you my shoes, please respond.
1:00 Well now she's just confusing Lui lol. In English the word "pants" means the same thing that it means in Japanese. But in America they call trousers "pants" I guess
for some weird reason they do-
It's not weird to have all your most commonly discussed clothing items be one syllable. Pants, shirt, dress, socks, shoes, boots, blouse, coat, tie, suit, hat, cloak, gloves, etc etc
What's weird is using a more complex word that takes longer to say for the clothing that goes over your legs than the clothing that goes over your privates.
You're just mad that we keep importing French words for intimate things. 😉
@@dynamicworlds1 No one asked, I never disagreed with you and never called anything "weird", in fact I'm all for language simplification. I literally just stated a fact that "pants" has the same meaning in English (the one spoken in England) and Japanese, but it's different in American English, am I wrong?
@@not_sterling ya'll don't really say trousers do you? I can't even imagine
@@OsakaBancho trust me, I'm just as surprised that someone would unironically say "ya'll". Difference in dialect does that to people
