Sam, with “no filming rule” you’ve discovered a new talent ! Your videos now is on the different level, it’s so great, so impressive, so wonderful. You show to all of us not just great poker session, but also a new places, cities, streets, places where the many of us will never visit. I absolutely love it. We appreciate that you are open and honest with us about your feelings at the poker table. Please, keep it coming. 🍀As always good luck to you🍀
Im on a massive heater at my casino after watching every single one of your videos from the very beginning. Thanks so much for this series and congrats on all your success at the tables you are very excellent player! Even the frustrating sessions is all part of the journey I love it all. Cheers Sam
Man after watching the vlogs over seas it really sounds like you are being setup mate. You notice anything different about the dealer shuffle sequence over there?
Very solid play Sam , i can feel ur frustration in this downswing cuz i’m going through a similar one as well. Ur lines are solid and i learned a lot. Watched all ur vlogs and U def be one of my fav poker vloggers 💪
Not a whole lot if I'm being honest, I've just been very frustrated vs that player. He's won every single hand I've played against him, and he's just been barreling me off relentlessly, check raising every delayed cbet vs him, and I thought he can't have it everytime, let's use a hand with ok removal as a bluff. Not my best hand played.
@BluffaloSam I think pitch the turn. Our hand is unlikely to improve. We could be drawing slim anyway he could have a 10,JJ,QQ not going to know which cards are good for us. And honestly it could be just a pitch pre knowing these guys are hardly getting out of line with 3! And 4! Preflop
@hollisjensen7941 we should absolutely be pitching the turn. I knew it was the right play, but was so tough to execute in game after getting run over in so many consecutive hands by this guy
@BluffaloSam I love the creativity and your vlogs and complete willingness to go for it. I aspire to have that but disciplined poker is the best poker ykwim?
You’re doin the best you can with the “no filming” rules which I think we all appreciate :) can’t wait till you make your way back to the (Vegas) Wynn again 👀 maybe battling some 2/5 there
Wow. The J high call was something. Crazy how it sounds like some of these games in Macau sound SO nitty that they only put money in with nutted hands, and then you find someone saying they don't believe you and calling with J high
Betting quarter pot in position on the river is fine if you’re willing to bet AND call thin imo. I’ve bet small targeting the weaker hands my opponent had and then when they check raised me it was such nonsense that I called. A good aggro player can sometimes recognize you’re targetting hands and try to punish you - if you can sniff it out it’s pretty profitable
Note to self: Avoid Macau. (Actually learned that from another poker vlogger, in his early days. Johnny Moreno.) Sam... those sessions appear very similar to the $1-$3 game that runs in my Okanagan casino... Commiseratations. Think about returning to LA just as fast as you can. The LL is running a game after your own heart. Get after it! With all that said: This vlog's scenic background, and your choice of music, were serious cinematic foreshadowing. You are a talented poker beast.
2d4d - preflop was a super punt, post flop well played, got all in 75/25 and you know that guy isn't going to fold a set in that situation, if you ever see him again. The card dead thing is why I play zoom online, can't take it either.
Dude, how have you only got 10k subs? I subbed to you and Corey Ering (now at 100k) at the same time and you both had similar sub numbers and you are a MUCH better player than him. I wonder if its something to do with the algorithm preferring shorter format? Perhaps you could run a poll to see if your viewers would prefer these broken down into shorter videos?
@@BluffaloSam it's a shame many viewers don't see the value in the creativity of B Roll, I think that's a problem a lot of content creators have. Anyway, love your videos mate. Love from the UK
That’s crazy Sam, they call all your bluffs and fold everytime you have it. It’s almost like the cards are marked there. Probably not but Damn! Good luck in the live stream.
You already know ow what you're doing wrong. Just for while you're there. I guess that's o ot a couple days that you aren't likely to play so too late. What a frustrating set of sessions for you. Amazing how close you got to the goal. If only your secret goal of paying off every river value didn't exist...😢
passive slowplay... you let em get there always.... better to bet out with the nuts than call off after they got there... is it greed or fear? Played there 3x at Gran Lisboa. All regs with headsets. literally same people same clothes 4 years later. tricky trappy nits. Did get a sunrun tho, 12x my 2000 mop buyin in 7 hours.
Dude, I'd love to one day, but that game is way too big for me at my current stage :) give me a few years and I'm sure we'll see each other on the 300/600 felt!
At this point in the video, you’re running card dead, but instead of playing shit hands, why don’t you request a seat change, or table change if they’re available? By the way, even though you played the 2-4 suited, hit your flush on the turn, shoved allin, and got rivered, I would not call that play a punt at all.

Giddy up friends! It’s time for another vlog
Love the videos mate! ❤
Man after watching the vlogs over seas it really sounds like you are being setup mate. You notice anything different about the dealer shuffle sequence over there?
It does feel like that, but I'm sure there's nothing going on
Really enjoyed the editing on this one! Nice change of pace from shots of the poker table. Cheers

You the man Sam
Sam in Japan: so I’m gonna go over the last couple sessions
The camera: In Hawaii
Sam what exactly are we repping with the A9ss hand otr?

Keep your head up my man. I really enjoy your videos!
is this in usd or a diff currency? whats the conversion rate?
Hong Kong Dollars
Was wondering the same.
Conversion is around 8 to 1 with USD. So a 80$ here is 10$ USD.
200$ is 25$
Omg man incredible framing with your head in the middle of the arch - intentional or happy accident?
A bit of both! :)

That dude watches the vlog, he's a lot different than the average player pool here
being card dead and losing blinds >> punting your stack. don’t end up like rampage.
Thanks for the great content! Curious why you always open 2x in the 50/100 sessions. That seems too small
Favours a loose aggressive range as we can open/fold more hands from early position facing reraises

Thank you so much!! I didn't even know thr Okanagan had poker tbh
You got this!!🙏🏾👏🏾👍🏾
Lookin like a young Tanaka from Bloodsport
GEE...you lost your mind so often, there must be SOMEONE that found it.

35:04 good thing you’re not into blowing people off Sam. 😂 not that it’s bad if you do. 😅
BB 3b range is polar as you mentioned. However BB squeezing ranges not so much. Pretty linear with a sprinkle of suited connectors for board coverage.

He does a much better job telling stories than I do, and honestly better more engaging videos, all the more power to him :)

I highly prefer Sam’s videos because they’re actually poker. Seems like a nice guy too. Both fun tho ofc
Sam plays way better as you mentioned

It has been rough!
Never seen someone who just loves to make bad plays and give money away
All right let's go 😂
What a brutal vlog….
Were talkin' 100k cash right? Lol
Yes hahaha
@BluffaloSam keep going man! You motivate me to play. Im going to try and tackle some low no limit games here in Arizona.

Still watching these, but not a fan of not being able to see the table/chips etx
They strictly enforce no filming at the tables, theres nothing he can do about it.
@@zenathemalewarrior i understand. Simply giving him feedback is all. Ive watched all his videos so i remember him saying that in the first one
Insta-thumbs up
Don't pay off nits
