Just bought a sport bike and i gotta say. Dropping 4 gears and taking off like being shot out of a gun... Awesome. Not for the inexperienced tho. A bike like this WILL end you if you dont take control and respect it.
I remember first time I rode a liter bike, it was a 2011 S1000RR, it was like handing a big gun for the first time, you feel the power and respect, it's kinda crazy
that was actually gentle, when i was riding exact same bike for the first time i ripped it full throttle and i was doing a wheelie on 170 km/h dont know how much it is on mph but its hella fast
I personally think litre bikes are too easy to hit license losing speeds. Especially here in the UK, where anything above 100MPH is a instant court case, often with a disqualification and large fine (£1,000-£2,000 depending on speed.)
It's not to bad in the U.S. Bikers and cops have a mutual understanding that they can't catch you so they don't really try unless you are driving extremely dangerously. But they mostly leave us alone.
@@crhoades40 Probably if you're riding without a plate, here in the UK is the same. But we have loads of speed camera's on our roads. Especially on the motorways between cities. Some stretches have over 20 speed camera's in a 20 mile road. I'm speaking from a law abiding position, with the plates on. One twist of the throttle on a litre and you're over a 100 really quick.

honestly it really just depends on the kind of rider you are, you will obviously know it yourself if you are experienced enough to ride the gsxr, i feel like a year is enough right? but jumping froma 300 to a 1000 is like jumping from a corvette to a bugatti veyron but without any safety. but personally if i was in your place i would ride a 600cc for another year and then get the 1000cc

First time ever getting on a bike my friend taught me on his 2004 Yamaha R1... I was amazing and honestly I would never recommend just hoping on a 1000cc bike with absolutely no riding experience but it is possible cause I did it. But when I do get a bike I’m probably going to get a 750 only cause 750s use a 600 frame and I’m only 5’6 so a smaller bike would fit me better.
You have to be a real spa to squid but to squid on a 1000... Jesus Christ. Ye seem like a nice fella but get some gear, gloves at least. I take it you use your hands every day? If so I can only assume you like to keep the skin on them.
Bad ass brotha! That's a dope bike!
Thanks! It was a blast to ride!
Liter bikes are like drugs. If you don’t want to get hooked on one, it’s best you never even try one lol
Unfortunatly all bikes above 250 cc is illigal in our fucking country so you either run from the police or thiefs
