I love the theme song to “Greatest American Hero”. I used to sing it all the time when I was a kid. And I still find myself doing so these days too if I’m being honest. And Connie, what a rare beauty and a rare talent. As always, so appreciate your hard work Dave.
Oh man Connie Selleca is gorgeous. A beautiful woman I forgot about until your video Dave. It's too bad she didn't quite get the acting career that she probably deserved !
Thank you for the walk down memory lane. I grew watching all of Connie's tv shows and movies of the week. Love her! A real Beauty! Huge shout out to...Hotel! One of the best shows to ever air on television. It was just so watchable. I remember loving it.
Man, I love your channel. You bring back soo many memories of past actresses/actors as well as songs and other forms of entertainment. Thank you for the updates.
You can still see one of her best roles here on UA-cam. It's called, "Miracle Landing," from 1990. She plays the real-life co-pilot of a flight that had 18 feet of roof torn off in midair. Tremendous job of portraying Mimi Tompkins there.
Thanks for uploading this video! It's great that *you're doing the diligent grunt work* of keeping fans of the personalities that we grew up watching on TV!
Very talented actress. Her intelligence showed through her ability. And very gorgeous too! Always enjoy watching her and one of my favorites with her is The Greatest American Hero. I still watch it when I get a chance. What a fun show!
A true beauty in both external beauty and the beauty of the soul, which is what most likely attracted both Gil Gerard and John Tesh. A success both professionally and personally, I love that Connie has allowed her life to be lived without the constraints of celebrity holding her back from pursuing whatever passion projects she chooses and her life isn't the trainwreck that most celebrity lives are which is truly a good thing to hear. Thanks, Dave for another good news story of the people we grew up with.

Connie became one of my favorites back in the day during her run in Hero! And although it's very difficult to know "the real person" through all of the Hollywood blitz and glimmer, Connie always stood out (from my vantage) as simply a really good person. No surprise to find she walked the walk! Great job, as always!
Thanks Dave for sharing this with me and I will never forget the most beautiful woman on TV, love the channel and keep doing what you're doing 😁, and as always "Howdy from Texas"!!
Dave my friend my Dad would always say that Connie Sellecca was very pretty whenever we would watch episodes of The Greatest American Hero and/or Hotel. Thank you your UA-cam upload brought back those great childhood memories with him for me.
Thanks for taking the time to post these. I am interested in what happened to actors and actresses from old movies and TV shows. I can't berate anyone who has cable TV or satellite TV service as it's their money. I dropped cable TV about 15 years ago and went to Dish Network, and dropped it back in January 2016. I was mad when they bumped The History Channel up to the next tier which would have cost more and the shows we saw on the History Channel we could watch had little to do with real history. I then realized that it seemed stupid for me to pay for 150+ channels when we only watched 10 or 15 at most. I did find that all my old favorite TV shows and cartoons, and even the History Channel and Modern Marvels I can watch for free on UA-cam, it's only free as I already pay for the internet service. I am subscribed to your channel and get notified when you put up another video.
Another great job Dave, I remember Connie Sellecca vividly, I first became aware of her on "Flying High" the CBS Show it was around 1977, great memories of a better time. I also remember about that time she was on a game show I can't remember the name of the game show however, but on the game show was her brother and mother and father as part of the game show scheme. It was so interesting to see such a personal side of her with her family.
Thank you for catching me up on "the woman I'm gonna marry" according to this list from 1984 I found while social distancing at my parents. Middle aged men with time on their hands get talked into cleaning out just about anything.
I remember an interview where she said she went into the Producers' office after being cast for The Greatest American Hero and before shooting for the first season started to tell him she was pregnant fully expecting to be fired. Unexpectedly, he asked, "So?" This is why most of the first season of the show she had something covering her expanding belly. She was very surprised as women who got pregnant were usually fired from the production. The producer didn't care. One more reason to love the show!
You are one of my favorite UA-cam Channels, Dave! I met Connie when she was still married to Gil. I met them both at the Sebastian MU and Hollywood Hair Awards. A onetime defunct awards ceremony. I remember Connie and Gil brought their baby in a basket.
Back then I thought she was the most beautiful woman on earth, I probably still do, so gorgeous but also classy, elegant, sexy, just ethereal. I wish her all the best, Connie we still love you!
I also remember Connie from Flying High. A lot of people probably don't remember that her husband John Tesh used to cover the Tour de France for CBS Sports.
Loved her on GAH, but the TV movie that really stuck in my mind with her was the only Rankin-Bass production with live action cast- The Bermuda Depths. I saw it on a late-late-late night airing when I was real young, and it has haunted me ever since. It wasn't so much the content of the movie itself, it was rather crap, but the imagery and the fact that I didn't know the name until the mid 2000's. That is the movie that really drew me to Connie Selleca, and also led to a childhood of not wanting to swim when there were turtles around (j/k)! Connie and Phoebe Cates were childhood crushes for me.
I remember Connie Sellecca best from a movie I loved as a kid called The Bermuda Depths, which also co-starred Carl Weathers (Rocky/Predator). Although the special effects were terrible compared to today's quality, her character's ethereal nature stole the show, enough that I've lost count of how many times I've seen it.
