Gold Hog Sluice Conversion Test Run 2.

Second test run. This was a few days after the first video. The material was gutter sluice tailings, this test was jsut to see if the different types of mat I used would exchange in very low water conditions. I am using scrap sections of Razorback, Scrubber and River Hog with the riffle removed. This was just a simple test to test the functionality. Stay tuned for recovery testing this Fall.

No gold, but tons of black sand. There isn't any gold in this part of Ohio, but there is an old iron ore mine a block away from this creek, the shaft runs into the hillside. I test different sluice designs and stuff like that in it. Great for testing different equipment under low water conditions.
