Thanks for the great videos Steven! also congrats on your feature on Forbes!! you deserve it with all the help you've given to me and other beginner traders. Im always learning something new every video, really appreciate the effort man, keep up the good work!!
Hi Dux! Very good, useful videos nowadays. Been watching all of them... Since I saw your first interview with Tim. That video made me chose this path. Thanks ever so much !
- Add to a winner. When you add, you can move your risk down. So if it comes back up, you will still cut and make a small gain. You want your average position to always be a bit above the key resistance point. Entry needs to be above the key level - He usually looks within a year. On a daily chart, consistent downtrend chart. A draw down and consistent downtrend again, if the stock is trading decent volume every day, people are holding in different levels. So you can’t tell where people are holding, so if the stock decides to reverse again (go green), you don’t have the concentrated level of sellers. So this stock is unlikely to spike that high and can’t really predict where the seller is/ where resistance is. So the stock is not tradeable. Technical overwhelm fundamentals.
Its because it microfloat stock. Stats say market cap below 10 mil usually doesnt hold its gain. And its easily manipulated because of the float as well
@@StevenSoto Steven Soto A pre‐market or post-market trade is instant with TOS/TD. You have to use Limit Orders. No Market Orders. You must also change your TIF trade settings to "GTC_EXT" instead of "DAY" in order for the trades to go through. Pre-Market or Post Market trades will NOT work with paper trading. They just don't have that function.
Damn it Dux this is gold. Understanding overhead supply and how those holders think is the way to go. However, with your ACRS example, the overhead supply should be that big gap down to $3 right? There is some concentration of overhead supply there. Shorting there is not advisable still?
Why would you add to your position, if it already dropped down from 3 to 2.2 why not exit, why add at 2.6? Why would you not get out at 2.2 to secure profits but enter back to short at 2.6?
Hi, Steven, thanks for the video. Do you have hotkeys loaded to go to buy/sell on the bid/ask? If so, do you use different routes, like ARCA, NSDQ? What did you think of GHSI? I played it yesterday, my first live trade, took a small position size of 200 shares, knowing the tough market sentiment, and that SPI was struggling to break out. Initially, I tried to get filled at .50 but didn't get executed. I did get executed at an avg of .625, out at .63, didn't like the chart action, especially awaiting the news in the afternoon. I only made $2.00, lol.
if there is always a spike in the morning then cant you pretty much always buy at the end of the day when they stock is low and then first thing in the morning sell when everyone else sells so that you will make a profit?
the psychology assumptions you make about people selling to break even after the stock returns to their level, did you read it in 'trading physiology' book?
Hey Dux, making all this money, what is your future goals, I’d be very interested in your thoughts on what you are chasing, with your wealth, let us know mate.
@@blimpzz It took me a minute at first, but keep looking at other stuff and coming back to Dux as you watch him, things will fall into place as to what his mindset is. Remember he came from another country and figured things out for himself and it began to "click" for him.
I love when they beat estimates, even if it was by .44! Made 2nd live trade today, lost -35.00 on DTEA, unfortunately. I liked the catalyst, but the volume didn't ramp. My goal was to make .50 to 2.00 a share. I got out before my mental stop of .20, at .09. Didn't like the chart action, it was choppy, even though they had a great-cup-and-handle continuation pattern. Thanks again for the great videos!

Wow, never looked at charts like that, thanks alot for the info
5:37 if the stock pushes above 2.66 how would you be down if your risk is under the current stock price? wouldn't you be making money at that point?
Thank you for your help
I'm blown away
I said the same thing about $ACRS. Too many bagholders, that is why I tend to stay away from stocks with that type of long term chart
