- A Little to the Left Part 1 - it's like Understand, but with more tangible objects. It's comfy, cozy, and satisfying to see everything fall into place. Get a warm blanket and hot chocolate for this one!

"Maybe hide all the crack?" Ah, I see that's how you keep solving so many puzzle games so easily.
It all is finally coming together~
Line the crack up... Hrmm... Oh! Line it up and hide it! Of course!
I loved the logic on that one.
This the add game
9:34
me and my friend discussing how to get away from fbi
Dunno what I like more: Tyler playing more cool puzzle games, or the editor note at the start detailing game name, price and available methods to play
both
Props to the editor
Would be nice to get the expected play time too
@@Beefman.0 Expected time in puzzle games is like the most useless thing ever lol
Who says you have to choose one? :D
Placing the sticky note over Tyler's facecam at 5:00 is so smart. The details in the editing are next to none, thank you for the amazing content as always !
Im actually very impressive with that part.
@@Clubqaz3 impressed*
I hadn't even noticed that! It's so natural!
@@FoxSlyme You’re right, I actually have a thing likely related to a mental condition where I often don’t type what I really mean and often times I will use the wrong ending of a word or don’t use an ending of a word at all.
@@Clubqaz3 askers
I was incredibly frustrated trying to watch a "cozy gaming night" type long play of this video because the person just... Didn't really get it. This feels like a balm for my brain, thank you Tyler
Jerma hurt you as well
Evanandkaitlyngaminguncut has got you if you're still looking for another long form play of this game. Cozy couple with a fun dynamic. Slight chaos, but they make my heart happy
@@lamergamer8211 same, I tried watching him for a bit and it was just so infuriating watching him not get the most simple stuff
@@spameron7575 c'mon he only finished growing in the tube a few years ago, cut him some slack
I was genuinely upset to not be watching more and keep the comfy and satisfying vibes going. Great video Tyler and editor/editors
I got so into the video that I was surprised when it ended
I swear on my demons this game is the most epic thing to both play and watch,, another one of my go to youtubers playing this is just nice (you should check out Gab Smolders if you want longer sessions of this game)
Yeah I wish this was one of the 1 hour ones as well, we've gotten pretty blessed for a while now. This is also a great one to think along with.
"Bogo sort would get there eventually"
Fun fact: if you implement truly random bogo sort that retains no memory of combinations it has tried before, its worst-case performance is O(∞), meaning it is possible for it to never produce a sorted list.
Obviously in practice, the odds of it truly continuing forever are slim, but they are not zero.
Sure, but that's the same logic that lets you flip a coin over and over and always get heads. Theoretically possible for a fair coin, but... In practice, you'll get tails sooner or later.
And of course, the same logic that makes it impossible to know with 100% certainty that a coin is fair. Just because you flipped it 10,000,000 times and got heads every single time doesn't mean you weren't just very, very, very (un)lucky!
The chances of it never finishing are much much lower than the chances that it finished in 1 iteration, so just be optimistic
This is actually true. For a deterministic version (in which all permutations are enumerated until a sorted one is found), the running time is O((N+1)!). On large lists, this is still incredibly bad. For N=1 to 10, this evaluates to:
1 -> 2
2 -> 6
3 -> 24
4 -> 120
5 -> 720
6 -> 5040
7 -> 40320
8 -> 362880
9 -> 3628800
10 -> 39916800
This is even worse than exponential growth (e.g. O(2^X)).
@@KinuTheDragon isnt it "just" O(N!)?
since theres only 1 permutation to check for N=1, only 2 permutations for N=2, only 6 for N=3
or am i missing something important?
@@eden3669 There's also the checking of each permutation, which is O(N) I think? I got the O((N+1)!) from Bogosort's wikipedia page.
The little editing at 5:00 makes me happy.
I Know Right?!? The editor puts in like 150% and it's amazing!
Yeah Editor here is doing God's work
There are so many tiny details to be appreciated
You are so much better at this than other UA-camrs who just constantly doing trial and error until it dings.
You voice your observation and line of reason and test your hypothesis. That unique quality is what makes you jump out from your peers.
12:00 Editors, you guys are absolute legends! I've got misophonia which can cause me to have out right panic attacks when sounds like that are constantly happening for a long enough time. Y'all are great and really deserve the raise!
Yes! I haven’t got misophonia but I’ve got autism which makes it so I’m affected by certain sounds and can cause me a lot of distress, which includes the squishy sounds they warned about
I respect yall! Keep going you got this!
100% would like a part 2, this was so lovely to watch. Hope to see more soon!
yoo i love staying up late to watch tyler play the best games (least known) known to man
I Wish i could play them myself, but after watching, it's useless. I wonder how much revenue is getting lost from puzzle makers just because a single guy walks us through all of them.
@@David-eg6sd or alternatively, youtubers losing watch time because viewers want to play the game before watching the video
@@chungo. This is why I developed a habit of stopping the video once I figured out what the game is about. It's literally the only option for not losing the game personally.
Honestly, don't know if it's actually good at all, but it sure is neat to watch.
Edit: most certainly not against more of this, gives similar vibes to monument valley in a way imo.
god i love how creative your editors are, they always put in little fun edits like 4:56 that on their own might not do much but they’re everywhere and they add so much to the videos, kudos to the editors
The editing on this video is absolutely on point. Mad props to Ben, some of the best I've seen on all of YT
6:28 😆 "No, you ruined it with cleaning!"
7:35 wow, you're just spitting facts at this point. I love how you noticed the difference between for example blue-purple and purple-blue, it's a huge difference that many can't see
This is beautifully edited, especially the fastforwarding of the thought process, while still keeping the voice over explaining what he's doing
Man that cutoff was brutal feels like a game that would be nice to watch as one full Playlist in a row
Bless that thumbnail, combining two of the solution together, for the ultimate satisfaction.
I was really hoping you would play this game. Gotta see more of it. It gets better too.
The book puzzles here greatly remind me of similar book sorting puzzles in some of the games from the Cube Escape series.
I absolutely loved this game, glad to see you spread it!
I'm comfortable enough in my own skin to admit that Tyler is definitely smarter than me and it's honestly just nice to watch someone else do all the mental heavy lifting.
I became a fan of Tyler back during bloons, but he has become one of my favorite content creators for all his other series and games. The quality keeps improving and I greatly appreciate all the extra effort that goes into the editing on the videos lately!
Hell yeah I enjoyed Understand. Its still one of the series I remember most fondly, maybe even the most fond one. I can't wait for more episodes of this, and really been loving all the long uploads as well!
That was fun to watch! Would love a part 2 :)
Hey BenBenRanger, 4:59 was really clever and cool. I appreciate your work here
Thank you for the video Tyler! And thank you editor(s) for the great edits!
Stoked for more, thanks Tyler!
Super satisfying; I was sad to see the video come to an end. I always appreciate some clever little puzzles.
I like that you show the name, price, and platforms for the game, but devs in general would really appreciate at least one link to its Steam/Itch/etc. in the description too. Makes for less friction for people to check out the game and potentially purchase themselves, which really helps out developers. Just a thought.
4:58
Gotta love how it goes over the face cam
9:34 "Maybe hide all the crack?"
_Tyler, 2023_
The bogo sort impression was hilarious!
9:33
“idk i really thiught it would be connecting the crack… maybe hide all the crack?” 💀
Omg yes I saw this game before and loved it’s gameplay. I’m so glad you’re picking it up!!!
Tyler: Just got to tilt everything a little to the right.
Me: Roll credits?
I think I've seen someone else play this but it's so much more satisfying watching Tyler play.
The sticky note over the face cam made my day, I would love to see a part 2 for this game!
This was calming, loved it
Wow this was such a enjoyable video to watch, so satisfying and calming
Thank you for including the game cost and how to get it! It's really appreciated!
Just watched someone play this game in the most roundabout and unsatisfying way possible and was reminded why this is the only puzzle game channel I watch, thank god for Mr. Aliens Rock
I've seen some of this game played before and have to say, it's amazing. I'm not OCD (though I know this game was made partially for people with it) but as someone who does hyperfixate on things when they aren't neat and tidy in an appealing way, this game scratches an itch
I think there's a little too much overcorrection around OCD. I know I don't have OCD, but I do have ADHD which can cause Obsessive/Compulsive behavior. Since you used Hyperfixation, I'm guessing you have either ADHD or Autism (or both).
Really, the mechanism of action is the same. The Long-Term Depressive system has a flaw leading to a behavior or thought being "stuck". LTD being the ability to weaken synapses. It is an incredibly important system, as it allows connections to be "pruned". The ones no longer needed removed to make room for other connections. So because LTD is handled by neurotransmitters, and ADHD/Autism are primarily issues with neurotransmitters, it's common for ADHD/Autism to cause issues with LTD. This then leads to Hyperfixation, hyperfocus, and Obsessive/Compulsive behavior, as the connections are stronger than they should be.
Dude that was a solid 5/7 Bogosort impression
Absolutely perfect
oh wow this game looks so cool
edit: 1:22 LMAO BOGO TYLER
4:59 WHOA NICE EDITING
I love how this game looks calming and at the same time infinitely frustrating
I started cracking up when he said he was doing a BOGO sort lol
I think every time editor makes a better job than the last
I have this on my PC but it's too cozy for me I almost fall asleep playing the game. Watching Tyler playing it though, a perfect way to relax on bed.
I would greatly appreciate more of this.
So satisfying, need more!
My favorite best enjoyed without context quote of the day “maybe it’s hide all the crack?”
This game is super OCD friendly, the way everything connects makes me feel as though my life purpose has been fulfilled
More of this would be awesome!
Good editing!
I actually played this game, and I loved it! Thanks so much for playing it, Tyler!
What's the games name
peeeerfect for me trying to finally chill out and fall asleep at 6am thank youuu
1:18
wow i love this joke so much, more than i probably should
Thank you editor for fastforwarding clips in the videos, my adhd is pleased and I cant watch without skipping anything
"Cleaning"
Tyler has never owned a cat, confirmed.
Its very relaxing and satisfying
This video flew by quick! I was like how is he ending so early
I got a game suggestion
Block buster Billy
It's a sokoban (block pushing) puzzle game where the boxes have basic arithmetic symbols (+ - = × etc) and if the equation made by a line of boxes is true, all of them merge into 1 box
Example: if I had a 1+2=3 lined up it would merge and make a singular 1by5 tile long block, but if I slide another 1 to either end to make 11+2=3, the equation is now false and thus breaks into 6 individual boxes
Currently there's a demo on steam for free, still in the process of determining its size but could lead to maybe 3 or 4 videos worth of content
Thanks for making this video! I have a decent sleep schedule again!
I love this game
Thank you for playing it Tyler
Thank you
Okay, never have I felt this disatisfied with a video ending, MOAR
This game is more of a riddle game than a puzzle game. Neat.
More of this please!
really appreciate the price and platform at the beginning of this one
There’s a good demo on steam next fest called shadows of doubt. Detective game which is pretty fun.
Video of a satisfying being posted on a satisfying schedule
9:35 best line ever
lol
Very enjoyable, thanks
I enjoyed this definitely felt like Understand.
This was really satisfying
I read the title and thought more understand stuff happened. But this is also really good
I like both this and Understand, this is kinda more comfy
Awww I love this game so much !!!! I’d love more on it
I loved understand and I'm loving this game too
I found this channel because of waking up in the middle of the night with UA-cam playing overnight…
And I have zero regrets!
I love the manipulation of the facecam in these videos. Like you'd think putting a sticky note over the top of the facecam would be a regular thing, but the facecam is a part of the hud which is over the game. However in these videos sometimes you/the editors do little things that put the webcam into the game to play with the theme of the situation which I love.
It's the same reason why I like SovietWomble's videos. They do a similar thing where they have their subtitles in their videos react to the situation at hand(like subtitles being shattered and flung into their individual letters by an explosion or having a subtitle pass by another one that looks at it as one person briefly appears and randomly reacts to what someone says causing that person to react to the person in surprise). Just little things like that are why I like you and SovietWomble(even if SovietWomble does content for adults only).
I had an extremely long day today, and just watching a video that isn’t so redundant like those clickbaity satisfying video, but is still interesting with the puzzles is… well I can’t even express how perfect it feels for a day like today
Satisfying puzzle game? Ima need to play that.
It’s so smooth, I like it
I needed this
LMAO, the bogosort reference killed me!
This looks fun and so satisfying.
"Maybe hide all the crack?" 9:31
gotta love the programming reference 1:20
the variety begins!
i love how the thumbnail combines both solutions to the book puzzle
I remember watching RCE play this so long ago, and he was like "This is a phrase I use a lot in my job"
as someone who enjoyed understand, this game looks awesome :D very satisfying indeed
"and now I get to do my best BOGO sort impression" is such an underrated joke
Its so funny watching someone so logic oriented play this game vs someone more visually oriented. Such a different thought process
Please play this more!
this video resolves all the anger i had built up from watching jerma play this
Wow! Never would’ve expected this game to be on this channel! Fun surprise I guess
Love this game
