So Sorry that u have to expeirience something like that , other than that i hope u had good time in India ! people are very welcome here but at the same time very curious about the foreign people and ofcourse there are many idiots too and they are a pain in the a$$ for us indians too!! u just have to travel and explore in a certain way to be safe and to have fun and u both coming to india for the first time and managing everything by yourself i consider u very brave and u did a great job ! please visit india again but next time with a proper guidance and im sure u will have a very great time . Hope u had a great time in india . Thank You for coming and showing interest in our culture and also u both looked very pretty in the indian attire in the wedding 💖💖
My friend and I had a terrible experience in Goa too. It was a bit of a shock, and we are ethnically Indian. The creepy stares and the violating energy of the men were such a disappointment. The rest of India has evolved from this, so it is such a shame that such a beautiful location has been tainted by a small panel of creeps. If you guys visit India again, you should definitely consider Pondicherry (near Tamil Nadu), the Nilgiris (Tamil Nadu), Munnar Hills (Kerala), Kerala in general, specially the boat houses and Kanyakumari (Most southern point of India). :)
Unfortunate that your vacation was ruined by some creepy men. You should have recorded the incident and call the cops right at that spot or atleast complaint after reaching the hotel. Sorry for the bad experience.
i am so sorry you had to go through this in Goa. i am indian and i was in goa in 2016 and had some terrible experiences. catcalling and stopping us (we were 3 girls) to force a conversation happened every single day and it was off season. so contrary to popular belief, goa isnt safe for women at all.
Nobody literally nobody in India travels alone even men , goes with firnds , couple, family, co worker, or even they alone they join a group or get someone to go with . It's just a basic thing that we Indians follow because if we go to different states the culture, food , people, language everything is different we have to careful that's why we don't travel alone.
Thats really unfortunate…i really want that scoundrel to b behind the bars…having such an experience in a foreign nation is truely disturbing and scary….we Indians apologise for his behaviour…you must have called local police and told them about the whole incident or a mere tweet regarding this incident with police tagged would have helped….really sorry for this incident…
