I like this video a lot better! Gives a much better view of the whole picture. I think it would've been slightly more accurate if you did Arcane SF cost with safeguard and Abso without, cuz realistically that's what people should do. But I think when you factor in the lower price of starring Arcanes without safeguard vs the cost of booming it comes out relatively equal on average so it's not a big deal. Also would've liked a 17 Arcane vs 20-21 Abso (whatever the stat equivalent is) comparison but no biggie there either, great video.
I don't think anyone should safeguard nowadays. The arcane pieces are too cheap compared to before for that. I think i did the math on this when i was doing my arcanes. Safeguard, on average, costs more total (meso+replacement)

So only 2.8b difference in favor of no safeguard. I thought maybe the range of cost would be higher with no safeguard but it's actually cheaper in every way, so you're right people shouldn't safeguard Arcanes in reg servers, at least with your Bera prices.
It's actually amazing the amount of players that do prefer to go full arcane 17 stars, when absolab and dunwitch are way better and cheaper to get to 22 stars
Higher level and better gear, but arcane has a long time to go before becoming obsolete. Abso's came out 5 years ago? Maybe more? And they are still relevant.
Hey, i think u forgot about the set effects when comparing the raw stats of the items, which should also consider that if u go 5set arcane, its better to go with 3set cra assuming u changed from 3set cra + 5 set abso to 2set cra + 5set abso + arcane weapon. Gaining back the +50 att from 3set cra and considering that cra hat is much easier to 22*, the diff between 22 absos and 19 arcane shrinks down a bit (or a lot) more
My comparison is on the basis of this: Constants: CRA hat/top/bottom and arcane weapon Variables: Absolab shoe/glove/cape/shoulder vs Arcane shoe/glove/cape/shoulder
@@ClanKaiserGMS doubt anyone would transpose nowadays. Going tyrants means going budget and cubing transposed stuff is anything but budget so I don't think transposing should even be talked about.

Your video it's so helpful now that I'm about to switch to arcanes,o lt doubt it's what about getting Scarlet shoulder instead arcane? The flame is a big difference between arcane 17* and scarlet 20*?

loving this so many infos now i can estimate my budget properly but the problem is 22* acs price thou wew doubt i can achieve that in short term

Arcanes are pretty cheap now though, so if you plan to min max, it's not a bad idea
I still wear absos :o but it's gotten me through everything the game has to offer so Imma stay as is for now

The first black mage clear and first seren clear in KMS had people wearing absolabs so it's not obsolete. Definitely can take you end game.
Thanks for the video series! Agree Arcanes are more future proof however Absos 21* are more than enough to tackle the current end game content.
why not consider tier 6 flames?, i think with arcane flames 19*arcane could beat 22*abso

40 is pretty accurate. 150 score on Arcanes and 110 on Absos.

Probably absolab because it is cheaper. Arcanes in bera are 3-4b, but absolabs are 1/10th of the price

You can get a scarlet temporarily but you will probably need to upgrade down the line
