A much better way of improving traffic flow across the bridges is to do away with the toll booths altogether , toll roads are just a way of bleeding driver dry of their cash !!

this video is almost 10 years old and I am pretty sure people have realized it by now. their true intentions for them wanting people to get fast track is so that they can monitor them and send them speeding tickets. my state started doing this a few years ago. the ones who have EZ pass have started getting speeding tickets in the mail because the average speed they were traveling at was faster then the speed limit from one point to another.
If EVERYONE gets fast track then it will ONLY be as fast as EVERY highway during rush hour and we know how “fast” that is. It’s the same dumb idea as HOV, because if everyone starts using it then suddenly all the “clogged” lanes become free while the HOV lane becomes clogged. All these things are a perceived advantage until enough people use it.
If you pay for tolls you should be able to have the fast track lane, the people who dont pay and go through fast track should be the ones who have to sit there and wait to get through, typical assholes in the govt
We pesky norwegians have a better solution: Automatic Licence and Toll Regitriation. Camera will take foto of your registration number and will send the total bill for the month towards your regitrated household. Meaning less congestions and faster travels

This is bullshit! My friend went over with Fast track and they still sent him a fucking ticket! How can he prove he had it with him? He can't! They conveniently take a photo of the back of the car to prove you were in the lane, even though the fastrack is in the front, if they had a photo of the front they'd have their own foots in their mouth!
Im sorry but creating a system that deliberately penalizes regular motorist is wrong. What you fail to realize is once all of the tolless systems are in place they will quickly multiply and exponentially increase your average commuter toll. So from ONE landbased toll plaza at lets say 1.00 per trip morphs into 3 automatic tag readers at .50 each.
What they are doing is slowing the other lanes to make fast track work. Though the bridge build cost may have been made 3 times over, maintenance and upgrade costs are high and will be ongoing for the life of the bridge.

I thought that right now, the bay bridge uses "All Electronic Tolling" for the tolling feature.
Tolls should have a barrier that goes Down when a vehicle is next to pay then goes up so no cheating that's all.
