@@basics7930 I have had 8SE for two years, it works well for me because I don't have to keep breaking it down, I can carry the whole thing tripod, OTA all together into my back yard. I think it the largest aperture you can realistically do that with, after that it they start getting too heavy. Oh, just thought would mention this, the 8" gathers 78% more light then the 6", and is it all about light gathering. The more light the clearer and brighter the image.
I have had many Celestron telescopes and I like the Nexstar 8 the best. But all those in the video are nice. Some smaller for being easier to take out and set up. I have tried and still have many of them. from a 70mm travel scope up to a C8. Like the Long 4 inch Refractor, and Nextstar 5, and 90 mm short refractors. U cannot go wrong with Celestron.
