Have you seen "The Big Clock"? It's a noir thriller from the forties based on a novel of the same name, which is the source material for "No Way Out". Fave thrillers: 3 Days of the Condor and Parallax View come to mind because they are recent watches. Costner faves: You mentioned Bull Durham. I'll add JFK and Open Range (needs an upgrade).
I haven’t seen that or read the book. I’m interested in that though! 3 doors of the Condor is the first one ai thought of too for favorite thrillers! Open range really does need an upgrade bad.
I like a good amount of Costner films. I would probably go with The Untouchables, Field of Dreams, Dances with Wolves. I had to look at my IMDb scores and was surprised by how many favorable reviews I’ve given his films. Looks like I’ve seen a majority of his work as well.
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia Have you seen Mr. Brooks? I remember enjoying him in that film too. Not the greatest movie but still a fun one from what I remember.
Kevin's role in man of steel Excellent and emotional especially one scene when young superman founds out he's adopted and the lines Can I still be your son and Kevin's line is emotional You are my son 😢 Beautiful lines in a decent film
My favorite Kevin Costner movie is Field of Dreams. Robin Hood Prince of Thieves would be a close second. One of my favorite thrillers would be Executive Desision with Kurt Russell
No one ever talks about Executive decision! I forgot about that one. I should probably have brought that up when I was talking about Turbulence! Field of Dreams is so good! Thats an every year watch for me.
@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia I think Executive Decision would make a nice Keno Lorber 4k. I had this movie on VHS, DVD, then Bluray. It's one of my favorites. Unfortunately the Bluray is edited

@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia People say GOODFELLAS should have won Best Picture of 1990. I would rather watch GOODFELLAS over & over but as far as a better movie DANCES WITH WOLVES is more Americana. You get romance, action and the good & bad of American history. GOODFELLAS is just about crime.
@ricogomez4020 I can understand that and I think that’s probably why it won beast picture. I also think it winning best picture puts a negative stigma around it because it’s still a good movie but now we have to always talk about Goodfellas when we talk about Dances with Wolves. I understand and respect that. I have plenty of movies like that. I’m going to still have to go with Field of Dreams. He was perfect in that movie and had the right charm and then of course handling the emotional moments towards the end perfectly.
I love Game night! It’s coming to 4K this month and I think i’m going to grab it. One of the better comedies of the last 10 years and it’s definitely a thriller too.
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia Oh cool. It was good and impressive how it captured that David Fincher style. @lunamoth5164 That does worry me too. We just don’t get strait forward comedies in theatres anymore. It’s always got to be combined with another Genre. The closest thing we get are movies like dead pool but that still has to be a comic book movie and they need that through line.
I liked it the last time I saw it but i’ve never loved this movie. I’ll try again i’m sure but it’s just not for me. Some great action sequences though!

Disturbia for me Its a simple plot of a kid who is under house arrest and spies on neighbors before noticing something bad. Its a great thriller for its performances and suspense and heck its nostalgia as well for the use of Xbox Live, Pc, and its soundtrack. Classic days
