Countries where baseball is big include the USA, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Panama, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, China, Australia...it's played in other countries, too - Brazil, Israel, Spain, Colombia, and South Africa have also participated in the World Baseball Classic. At this point at least half of the players in MLB must be Latin American.
If you like throws watch a best throws or best infield plays. That’s my favorite part of the game as well. I actually think home runs are kind of boring, which puts me in the minority. I’m a huge NFL fan (go Chiefs!), but if you really asked me where my heart was, I’d have to say baseball, even though I don’t watch it that much anymore. It’s such a beautiful game. A baseball game is usually 2-3 hrs, depending on how much scoring happens, pitching changes etc. it’s not a timed sport, so it goes until 9 innings have been played or, in case of a tie, until one team wins.
There are some hilarious videos called, “Not so serious Baseball,” that show some of the funnier things that players get up to when they’re bored. There are so many games in the season, they find ways to entertain themselves. I think you’d like these videos.
Yankee Stadium both Old and New are insanely loud. And the fans are rowdy with beer flying everywhere. The old one used to shake like an earthquake in the playoffs
20:39 “According to MLB.com, fan interference occurs when a spectator goes onto the field or reaches over, under or through a barrier and touches a ball in play or interferes with a player. The two areas where this can occur are along either foul line and along the outfield fence. If a player reaches into the stands in an attempt to catch a fly ball, any spectator whose presence or actions might prevent the player from catching the ball is not guilty of fan interference. Such a scenario occurs frequently because players will take any chance to record an out. The likelihood of a fan getting in their way depends largely on whether they're home or on the road. Home fans commonly move back to give one of their own players extra room to catch the ball. The job of determining whether fan interference has occurred belongs to the umpire.”
I've watched this a few times. Love your videos, but when you say "Old Timers love baseball" that is Bill Murray of Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, etc etc etc fame. haha
Over a quarter of the players are from outside the US/canada and most come from latin american countries.A few come from south korea and japan a few from Australia and the Netherlands, and yes we have had a few Brits play in the MLB.
Baseball has been going on for over 150 years. You can even find accounts from the American Civil War between battles the men would play it on both sides.
I was at the game you stopped on to ask if anyone's been to one of these games. That crowd was loud and was deafening for a good 30 minutes after that.
23:06 This is a great video from 5 years ago when Man City visited the Toronto Blue Jays. Joe Hart asks Jose Bautista about how many games are played in MLB. It's at 2:25 mark: ua-cam.com/video/irL1vdwp53c/v-deo.html
Since you like the throws, you might want to check out a video on the best double plays in MLB. I think you asked how long a game is. Baseball games are composed of 9 innings, which is basically each team having one turn at bat and on the field. An inning lasts as long as it takes to get 3 outs for each team at bat. There are games that have gone on for hours. If the game is tied at the end of the 9th inning, the game will go into extra innings.
The reason why these reactions are this lit is because most of them are in the playoffs 😂 there are 162 regular season games that each team has to play so obviously the stadium isn’t gonna be filled for all 162, thus making crowd reactions during the regular season far more tame
Black American participation in the MLB has been on the decline for a number of years, which is crazy, considering how Black Americans opened up and changed the game for inclusion in baseball, with Jackie Robinson integrating the national leagues in the 1940s, not to mention other legends like Hank Aaron and that he record. The decline has been noticed, and those in the game have put out the call, if you will, to try and reintroduce Black American kids to the game in Little League. Kid sports can be an expensive enterprise, and for many, that's a barrier right there. On football: Russell Wilson remains much of the soul of the Seattle Seahawks. QB extraordinaire. Black dude. Cam Newton just won his first game as QB for the Patriots. Black dude. Flashy dresser, lol.
10:00 no don’t worry we all be root against them now too bro..there was a team wide cheating scandal with the Houston Astros but that’s another story for another reaction I guess!
Being at a baseball game is really a vibe. I might be biased because I'm a Dodgers fan, a team with a huge fanbase, but it usually gets pretty rowdy.
don't forget about us boys in Cardinal Nation
These are all post season(the play offs )thats why the crowds are crazy.

There is a spot on the team for all different body types. In baseball as long as you bring value in some way there is a spot on the team for you.

Regular season crowds are pretty laid back, but the playoffs can be mad.

Jheeze I had no idea it was that old !!!
@@JamesCornwall95 Yeah actually evolved from a game called Townball which was played for even longer.
@@cliffrusso1159 And townball comes from rounders which a British invention from the 1700's and is still played by kids in England.
