You've got that wrong at 2:56 - 3:17. The middle port that you have your headphones for the rider plugged in is the spot where you would plug in a passenger headset (headphones and mic in one plug) and the very bottom spot across from your mic connection that is on the mounting plate is for the riders helmet headphones. All of the connections for the rider's helmet are on the base plate and therefore won't need to be disconnected when you remove the chatterbox unit from the helmet.
Not that I know of. The purpose of this button is to tell you that you are transmitting and then another beep to tell you you’re done so you know you aren’t on a hot mic

Is it possible to turn the beep sound off or volume down when push the PTT button? Thanks

Thanks.
The x1 is way better quality. My x2 changes volume on its own on a regular basis. And it happens on both of my helmets with the speaker set up.
