- 'I don't recall the number of times, but it's not about me,' said Ohio GOP Rep. Jim Jordan Wednesday, saying he spoke to former President Donald Trump Jan. 6th. Jordan made the comment at a House Rules Committee hearing. The panel voted for a resolution that sets up a House floor vote to hold former Trump advisor Steve Bannon in contempt. Jordan has previously acknowledged speaking to Trump that day. He told Politico this summer they spoke 'more than once' Jan. 6th.

Jim is right, with the Russian collusion they essentially believed the election result was not vailid, the Democrats were completely given that right to challenge and investigate, but the 2020 election result could not even be challenged or questioned or investigated.

This sounds exactly like the kangaroo courts in the USSR back in the 50s and 60s. It’s one thing to grill a witness it’s another to continually condemn the witness. If you really want to find out the facts simply ask questions gather responses and from there make reasonable conclusions. There was the constant test offered to the witnesses of “ Can you say those five words”. Are we really at that point where we have to have loyalty vows? Watching this as a disinterested viewer The way one would watch a Perry Mason episode it seems that the prosecution was badgering the witness into it a loyalty test. That environment does not seem to be what I would imagine an American court to be. I know that there are politics involved but if it’s a legitimate mission to find the truth then it would seem the questions are the most important part of the Hearing. By bloviating and declaring one’s position nobody can find out the truth. And when it comes to this event I think everybody wants the truth, please use your position to seek the truth and not continually state your position. I do believe Americans want a reasonable, professional and effective search for the truth.

It is obvious McGovern isn’t sufficiently prepared by his assistants handing him papers with high-lighting on it. I remember watching a french reporter outside interviewing police that day about why they were sent home early. How many capitol police were angry, not only at being sent home early but not called back in later when some reports were coming in about the Capitol. Somehow, conveniently that reporter and her interviews never seem to come up in evidences produced for public consumption.
