We litterally had one of the worst olines in football that season. they could not block. it wasnt wentz especially against the lions. that i blame on the defence. But he blames wents on losing the bears game. When wentz literally broke his finger on his throwing hand. I kind of feel bad for wentz. if we had even a average O-line i guarentee that we would of been at least 11-6 that season. I blame most of the losses on our O-line. I hope we get a better O-line this season. It been painful watching literally every QB we have get destroyed behind this enept O-line

I'm a Lions fan. The only reason why the Eagles had our number was because Hurts was mobile. We knew we were gonna eat against the Commanders. Wentz even had some runs towards the end (can't contain a mobile QB), but everyone in the D was saying "Wentz isn't Hurts". Don't count out that the Lions might actually be a good team.
But I'm a Lions fan. I'm telling myself we might still go 1-16 LOL gotta keep it real until the real is a new real.

The lions did this missing their entire interior offensive line. Pro bowl left guard Jonah Jackson out, all pro center Frank ragnow out, big v on IR, backup Tommy kraemer on ir. That left them with converted practice squad tackle dan skipper at left guard, Evan Brown at center and Logan Steinberg who's played 4 NFL snap to man right guard.
TBH even with them dude. My Commanders D-Line is ranked in top 5 and i think they are best D-line in football. The D-line would eat those guys up. I watched the game and Goff was constantly under pressure. i think Deandre Swift carried your team that game. Since Washington has never seen Swift up til that game.

Lol - you stated that Wentz was being "sacked too often" as if that is exclusively his fault. Yes sometimes the QB is to blame, but the majority of sacks are the fault of the O line. In this game the OL was beyond horrible during most of the game. Again stop making it appear as if everything on the offense is due to the QB. Wentz had a good 2nd half save for the one pick. Cmon man - you know better.

You also said "Good D" numerous times - trust me Washington didn't play good defense on 99% of the plays - they were awful & their secondary & LBs are trash. You also missed the fact that the special teams were beyond awful.
As for Goff - I am no fan. However - he was selected as the # 1 overall pick & has done very well during his time w/ the Lions - quite a few TDs & very few INTs. Please stop making football appear as if it begins & ends with the QB. The line is what is really important & the OL & DL for Washington was terrible in this game!
