I think I read that in this case there was a stalker situation going on in chat so he wanted to make sure they’re okay. This video is cut a lot too so maybe it highlights him being focused on chat, during his livestreams there’s a better balance between game and chat. I get what you mean, for viewers those chat breaks are a bit boring and sometimes frustrating but that’s livestream for you.
