That's a spicy mono black I've been meaning to try for when I get more of the cards, don't want to burn all my wildcards yet. Been playing pure mono black skeletons/discard these days and seems to be working alright against most things I face in lower ranks.
Interested to see Eerie decks to enter the meta, feel like i've been playing against a ton of them
The otter talents in UG bean come in clutch pretty often. It’s also a good target for the double bounce spell. Funny that it’s still 150+ dollars for a budget deck haha

Do you cover just brawl stats on untapped gg?
I’ll do a run down every now and then. It’s on my list to revisit in near future once I can shake off this Covid and get back into extended recording sessions. Right now 15-20 mins is my talking limit before my throat gives up

Why get stats of a purely casual format?
Some people like playing full powered decks in highest tier, same idea as cEDH or duel commander. Some people play for jank/fun while others to to max wins/broken shit

Feel like it has been dominating lately
List I see is 48% win rate. Boros tokens is 54%. Wondering if just the domain piles are going over the top plus a lot more enchantment hate
@@MTGJoe My local meta has almost no domain, so I am wondering if I should go Boros tokens or Mono white for Store champs coming up end of October. Any suggestions ?
@brendoncumming-smith8080 what’s the meta like. Lots of creature aggro? Prob mono white. If more midrange Boros with forge seems nice. It’s funny my store championship was like 1/2 domain so local metas can differ a lot

I hate dmir midrange its so boring to play against
It can be annoying to go against with how strong it is and how it can interact on a number of axis
@MTGJoe that playstyle in this meta is what makes monored leyline players lol, atleast you know in the first 3 minutes if you have the gas or not, if you also have a midrange deck you might not know for 10 to 15 if you can win or not
It doesnt help that dmir has so many options they often have analysis paralysis and take forever figuring out the most efficient way to waste your time next turn and go to time on game 3

BO1 died for me this season. Felt boring and super coin flip. Mtg was designed with BO3 in mind and standard hasn’t been this awesome in a while. I’ve been grinding ladder to diamond 1 mainly with Golgari and domain and it’s been super fun facing a different deck every game
