not really a doc on 4 Skins - never directly interviewing the band or saying even what their names were - or any history of a band - just angle to have a personal touch n a 10 minutes doc on NF music and fans. A missed opportunity as i watch in 2012. i would have loved a real 4-Skins doc. all that said - still cool to see archive footage of the time.
@14Praetorian I live in Croydon, it's is a real craphole so can relate... I just found it amusing that people like this can be anti racist living in Chelsea drinking earl grey but its different when you live in the thick of it.
@cffnmkr13 Been a skinhead since I was 13. I know the history. I just don't put the burden on average citizens, who listen to Bruce Springsteen, and have never heard of Symarip. If they all assume I'm a Nazi, or a criminal, I don't feel "Crucified". I don't expect them to learn the history of our very small (in comparison) subculture. Also a large majority of O.G.Skins(1969)(Black&White) openly admit that Pakistani's were "The Enemy". Hating Blacks=Racist! Hating Paki's=?
