That's common practice in animation, reference in movement. Disney has done it when they animate their characters. Animators are actors with a pencil after all.
@@iwashereforacupcake Uh. Try rewording that. I don't really know what you mean by "cuts(scenes)." How many seconds, how many frames? Do you mean "moments before the camera changes"? (Which would be a fair use of the word "cuts" but your wording is strange.) (Some steps you may have forgotten are there's also compositing to do, as in putting together multiple people's work into a single shot, adding the fancy lighting/shading effects, using color keys to make things look look more consistent between shots, and probably other stuff I don't know about.)
@@iwashereforacupcake Also keep in mind many professional television animation studios outsource to Korea and overwork and underpay those animators. From what I've gathered, that's not the case for Spindlehorse (I think. I've heard REEEAAALLLLYY mixed stuff about Spindlehorse, so I'm not a good source), so it might take them longer for that reason too.
@@alanaflynn8878 most freelancers or western American studios pay them per second per cut so if a cut is 6 seconds they might by them 90 per second for a 6 second so 90x6 then Japan does this per scene or per cut that what I leanred

I am a Benninger animator and for what I seen
A normal helluva boss cuts(scenes) should take LEAST One day and at MOST 3 days if it's under 10 seconds

They didn’t make any of this, the credits are in the description!!
fantastic work!
could you clear up some doubts for me? i want to understand what all the animation steps are from the storyboard to the final product
Afraid you asked the wrong guy. 😅 They just grabbed vids off the actual animators and slapped them together in a "compilation".
@@Sharky857 oh my bad 😅 thanks for telling me!

The fact that Opus 13 from Castlevania Rondo of Blood is playing on background makes the video even better
