"Think of Me" - Phantom of the Opera (Cover)

- Happy Monday! Here is a quick cover of "Think of Me" from The Phantom of the Opera in celebration of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Show Must Go On" and his cadenza challenge (even though I did not change the cadenza lol). This was the first time I've sang a soprano song in a long, long time.
OMG... Chloe, I am almost speechless after listening to you singing one of my top favorite songs... Your beautiful, ethereal, crystal-clear voice is perfect for the song, I loved every second of it!!! I'd also love to hear you sing "Who Wants to Live Forever", as Juji Espada suggested. It's an exceptionally-beautiful song.

This Broadway play inspired me to sing this style when I was in middle school. I have sang songs from musical for benefit shows Like you it also holds a special place in my heart and seeing it in NY on its 25 Anniversary was so exciting for me. @@MsChloeDichoso This play and the role of the Phantom was what inspired me to go into theatre professionally. I based much of my style on this character and still enjoy singing his songs the most. I just posted "Til I Hear You Sing" from Love Never Dies because I missed singing his material.

When listening to this, I feel like you were inspired by Sierra Boggess. I think you have the wonderful ability to reproduce what you hear incredibly well, even something of the timbre, which is a talent all in itself. LOL, I was not showing off. I have not sang this style for quite a long time. It is a lot of work since I don't have proper equipment for recording. I am still in the process of finding a good mic to shorten my recording session andI am just recording this on 7 yr. old IPad.

So what exactly is going on here? It says you are a health admin student. There is no way you can sing like that without being trained from the second you were born. Your voice is perfect. Everything is perfect. I have a grilled cheese sandwich and now that is perfect too because of your voice. Seriously, this is like an alternate reality I expect cartoon bluebirds to be flying around you in real life.
Lol. Before university, I applied to Stanford hoping to stay local. I got waitlisted, but did not want to go to the out of state music schools I was accepted into such as NYU and Berklee College of Music. I honestly had a last minute had a change of heart. I am truly enjoying this course and will be done with it soon. I will try to pursue the performing arts after I graduate.
