PR was a very private person that kept his personal life out of the lime light of Hollywood and the media, and because he did that, I think the media like to try and make up all kinds of things of what PR may have thought or did toward the Bonanza show or actors. PR certainly did not care about what the media said or tried to portray him as. But I do know he was a serious person, and very much fit the character of Adam to a T, and he enjoyed his fellow actors a lot, and was always close to them!

Sin hablar su lenguaje facial y corporal expresaban posturas, pensamientos e intenciones. Es muy fácil empatizar con una persona tan coherente. Gracias por difundir y dar a conocer su vida y su trabajo.
You can just see in his face he is a joker, a lover, a ladies man, happy, passionate, mysterious, with just a slight edge of danger. He is what a man is all about. Not just as Adam Cartwright, those facial expressions belong to Pernell, the real man who made them. They came from a life he lived, and lived HIS way :)

i always did love how PR portrayed Adam. I know everyone thinks he's so serious but i always though he was hilarious
