Great video Tim. I love how you get straight to the point, I much prefer that over scrubbing through 30 minutes of video. Keep up the great work!! People like you keep the community going.
Great video, I have one quick question though, I have used my same marlin firmware as I have previously flashed to my CR-10, However, after un-commenting a few things to use the EZABL i am now getting this error and have no idea as to why. USE_CONTROLLER_FAN requires a CONTROLLER_FAN_PIN. Define in Configuration_adv.h If i comment all out again, and compile, it compiles fine, what could the issue be?
Amazing video. I learned so much from your videos. Is it possible to make a video on how to calibrate the bed X-axis and Y-axis? That would really be helpful for so many noobs like myself.
I have tried compiling several different ways without success. I would like to clear out my vs code and start over trying your process. How to I delete what I have in vs code?
Ah yeah, I had to go through this when I was resetting vscode to make this video. If you just want to remove the marlin project from your vscode, just locate the directory for that project and remove it. Then you can add a fresh one to it again. If you are trying to nuke it all and start from scratch you can also uninstall vscode and go from there.
Great video Tim. Direct to the point with great instruction not to wordy like so many of the others.

I know this is super late, but thank you so much for this! I'm pretty new to both software development and 3d printing. This is still very useful 👍

How would I calibrate a new thermistor and a not hotend together so it stops going into thermalrunaway? I want to run a PID but I am unsure how to.

What unusual behavior are you seeing in the new firmware build?
