Nevertheless with a few more breathing exercises and voice training I’m sure her delivery will draw more to Christ. She was running out of breath on certain notes which made her pitchy several times throughout the song. She has potential to hone her craft ❤️❤️❤️

I’m a tenure-track music professor and researcher as well as a 20+ year voice teacher who can over-critique myself better than anyone, so I’m fully aware of everything that wasn’t technically correct about my singing in this video. One thing that I always stress to my students who minister through song that outside of when you’re singing to get your next professional opportunity, there are times when you must take off the critical mind and submit to the will of the Holy Spirit - He will never lead you incorrectly. That doesn’t mean that it will be perfect, but His message will reach any and everyone that it’s intended for. I say that to say that I’m so grateful to be used by God even in imperfection to bless so many through the gift of song. This little light of mine will always shine! And I hope that you’ll focus on letting yours shine as well✨
