@@flowlotl also, the stamps you bought were expensive because people resell older stamp designs for collectors! The book of 20 stamps you got are $13.60 on the usps website,, but designs are usually up for less than a year so people resell for profit. they have a lot of cool designs, and even international stamps for mailing to other countries (or you can use 3 forever stamps like the ones you bought). I have been penpalling for going on 9 years- letters and mail is def my love language
