Katya is one of my absolute favourite queens, and
I love Alaska it's awful that people are really mean to her online and it makes me mad cuz she's only doing her job. I would have loved to see Katya win and sure I was kinda mad that Alaska kept saving Roxxxy even though a lot of the other queens thought she wasn't the most "deserving" one to stay in the competition, but I mean Alaska worked incredibly hard this entire season and just by the number of wins she deserved the win, and fuck it if she wants her friend to stay on the show, the fans outrage at Tatiana and Alyssa's eliminations were probably good for publicity. (Doesn't mean I wish Alaska didn't turn it into Ru Paul's best friend race)

Ohh, for the comment below this, there was a debate on where that joke came from and one said Sarah Palin said it and one said SNL. I didn't follow Palin quotes much in the late 2000's and haven't watched SNL on a regular basis since late 2011 so I wouldn't have really known who was correct. Sometimes this happens with creative types... yes it can be annoying and aggregating to deal with, but Alyssa strikes me as someone who demands perfection from herself and always wants to look flawless. That reminds me of Marilyn Monroe, actually. I think fame and celebrity can be a big burden on people and if they are insecure or overly concerned with their image, then yes, they are going to be always late. Small price to pay because in the end, we are dealing with genius. Enjoy the performances and her legacy... that's what ultimately counts.
Graphic Jack But there's a difference from being late because you want perfection to not being accountable for missing shows and pulling out of gigs last minute. That's just unprofessional and when you enter the entertainment industry, you have to get with the program no matter the personal issues.
