This is why you are a teacher par excellence. Even though aware of the Andalusian cadence, never thought of looking it at the way of combining the natural and harmonic minor. All because of the natural 7th in harmonic minor that the last chord of the Andalusian cadence comes a major!! And suddenly ..the doors to improvisation opens. Thank you so much Sir!! All it takes is a small spark of light!! A million thanks to you!
Hi Jason, Excellent lesson. I practiced a bit and was able to repeat it but I lost it when you started to convert it to rock and jazz. YOU ARE THE BEST TEACHER! Praise God for your gift!

Can someone explain something to me? Another vid I saw that mentioned the Andalusian Cadence showed the progression as "i, bVII, bVI, V" and was played as Am, G, F, E. I was confused because the two flat chords where played natural.

Can you please elaborate on the style a bit more with some example material? Will do a research and will be sure to explore

I could follow everything till 11:34. From there everything is a screeching halt. What do I have to do 😢
