Oh it's so nice to see our SG musical icon Dick Lee with our new generation SG icon (already to many young people, or soon icon-to-be for new fans of Nathan) Nathan Hartono. Two great SG music talents!! Hope to see them work on projects together. So proud of them!! Glad to hear Nathan choose to pursue his music career in SG, representing SG and writing more SG stories going forward. Bravo!
Thk you much Dick, for “Home”. ❤ Still the best National Day song ever. Brings home-felt emotions right to the fore wherever we sing through the lyrics. Nathan, all the very best - a talented singer / musician. 🔥👍🏼

Love both musicians! Listened to Nathan when he still was a teenager in that Jazz compilation, mine I didnt really expect that kind of ability from an Asian young boy. and i personally though he should have won the China competition, he was way better than most of his peers. As for Dick, oh mine oh, how can Singapore's music scene be without Dick? Until now i am still listening to Fried rice paradise, singing along Mustapha and Sukiyaki. and then there was the 雪狼湖, an entire play of whimsical from the master himself, i really think Kit Chan was really made perfect by Dick! Seeing this video today, i suddenly urge for a collaboration between these two genius. It would be so good!
2 wonderful talents. @ Hartono : you mentioned you are still going because no one has told you to "shut up" yet. ask Dick. how many times and how many people, including authorities, wanted to shut him up. he kept going. belief, is key. keep going!
loved what Dick said about folk songs, yes, to our own folk songs!

both musical greats of Singapore. It is a huge pity that Hartono is not given enough platform to showcase his great talent.

Though Dick is rich, famous and talented, but the most important thing he is a very humble guy 🥰

I wish we have more musical talent like them. Given small domestic market, they will have to venture overseas.

this musician has a great name
Perhaps it’s time for Dick & Nathan to co-write a couple of easy to remember Sg songs reflecting our culture, our Singlish, etc
❤❤❤

Just like our national soccer, musician here cannot make money …
U need to put yourself in Europe, UK and states and when u have some “market value” then come back home.
