You didn't mention cpR
Neonatal resuscitation (NNR) is one of the medical procedure I like best. ♥️
So nice mem

Children are God's form and blessings on earth. May every child have a healthy, joyful, glorified and fun-filled family and friends around to feel love and care. May there be an exchange of happiness and innocent bubbly energy all around the place wherever they are!!

God's gift not god's form😊
God's gift not god's form😊
Excellent.
What is time duration for initial 5 inflation
@ 40-60 breaths/minute
dId I read the wrong Book? Its clearly written to Ask three questions, Term? Tone? Breathing or Crying?
They changed it two questions only in 2017/18.
Now it's just term, crying. No need to check for tone.
She does say she asks mother for GA. And after birth she sees if baby is crying.
No it's still 3 questions. Please see nrp algorithm
@@drkrishnap I am actually confused because the AAP one does have 3 questions. But I remember I was in final year in 2018 and they said 2 questions now.
@@iamdanyboy1 what changed is, instead of baby's colour, it's term, tone, cry now. Previously color was there. Meconium should be asked too. But this video is grossly inadequate. Won't recommend.
Yes wrong book .. it’s color tone heart rate and breathing in neonatal life support
No one will pass paeds viva without NRP.😀
This was really helpful. Thank you so much ❤️
Dry, then stimulate and suction comes after that.
Nice mam thanks
Dear Dr. Priya, thank you for comment. For more updates subscribe to the Omnicuris channel.
Am impressed....i got something in this vid
Mam I have one doubt u r not giving the chest compression after failure of ventilation 🙁🙁🙁plz mam answer the question
Chest compressions are given when heart rate is below 60 .. She talked abt rate below 100 I guess..
yes, you cant give compression if the ventilation is not succesful. One of criteria to start Compression Is PPV with succesful Ventilation that inflates the Lungs. If the ventilation is not succesful, Then Check for DOPE
Displaced ET
Obstructed ET
Pneumothorax
Equipment failure.
@@kimv1987 amazing bro! Thanks
Di meri puri report normal hai but nasal bone appears hypoplastic matlab kya h di
A nasal bone was defined as hypoplastic when it was either absent or measured less than the 2.5th percentile. The nasal bone is assessed in the mid-sagittal plane of the fetal profile and measured at the level of the synostosis using the method and reference range as previously described by Sonek et al. hypoplastic nasal bone may be caused by nasal bone hypoplasia or delayed ossification. dont worry The doctors would take care of that.

Wondered why the cord have to be cut
It has to be cut in every baby. Here it is cut early, right at birth, to immediately start the process of neonatal resuscitation. The first minute is the golden minute after all.
@@SS-yc5km
I mean why it has to be cut because that seem take away oxygen too quick from baby, can resusitation be done without doing that.
@@charlotterosestephens6009 as soon as the baby is born, the baby is left to fend for itself and has to breathe itself. The breathing is required to inflate the collapsed lungs (the crying is necessary to basically kick start lung activity).
Also, the umbilical cord provides the O2 in dissolved form in blood.
The only reason why recent rules suggest delayed cutting (by 30-60 seconds) of the UC is to prevent anaemia in the newborn by providing blood supply.
So to facilitate a quick neonatal resuscitation process, this delay is also skipped and early clamping of cord is done, right at the birth.
@@charlotterosestephens6009 you are right. It's been tried in studies and some parts of the world they have started doing it as part of studies. Humans are the only mammals who cut umbilical cords.
Mam why suctioning mouth first then nose?
To ensure the infant doesn't aspirate the secretions in mouth.. Coz she might gasp when u do nose suction first
Neonates are obligate nasal breathers, so if you give suction in the nose first, you're basically forcing the baby to breathe through the mouth. And if there are secretions in the mouth, the baby can aspirate them.
Yss
What if the heart rate is less than 60 even after all these procedures?
Give Adrenaline IV (1:10,000) - 0.1-0.3 ml/kg (in umbilical vein, i.e cord via umbilical catheter)
Before adrenaline we have to give chest compression and ventilation in ratio of 3:1.. compression done using 2 thumb technique .. and after doing this if HR is still less than 60...then we will give iv adrenaline.
Thanks so much but the way you did lateral delivery was way too funny not good, then on putting the baby unto the mother's abdomen you clean and apply warmth as well as using the bulb syringe to clear the airway before transferring the baby to the resuscitation table,
3:30 4:42 5:14 5:55
You don't look for chest rise after giving 5 breath. You look while you are giving those 5ppv. This feels like done by doctors who haven't actually done in live babies.
Also this is only less than half of the algorithm.
