Hi everyone! Thanks for tuning in today! I am asked often what I do with unused makeup. Because I get a lot of PR which I can’t and wouldn’t sell, I donate it or give to friends and family. ❤
Looooooove a thorough declutter! Also love when manufacturers put expiration dates on the product packaging. Way easier than guessing how old products are!
I adore your declutter videos! You inspire me to go through my collection, but it’s also like you’re giving speed reviews of all of the products you have. ❤
@@BrownGirlBella Yes! Half the fun is seeing if she'll throw out what I predicted! The other half of the fun is that I'm an organization freak... so I love seeing the clean drawers! LOL
I can remember you buying your first meteorite powder way back in the day and your joy at having it. Keep them, they're beautiful memories and gorgeous packaging and take no space to speak of!
I love a good old declutter video. Satisfying to watch, but also play in the background when I’m busy doing chores or getting ready. The ultra long form content means uninterrupted beauty talk to take my mind off things!
I was literally just wondering yesterday if we’d have a declutter video because they’re some of my favourites and I’m just so excited to see the length of the video!
The Basma foundation really is great. I appreciate how she catered to the minority because of her own experiences in life. I just picked it up about a month ago as I really wanted to try her cream blush which is also another great product. Both her products last all day with amazing pigmentation and such smooth formulas, as expected for the target market she is giving attention to. It's nice seeing a local brand getting the attention for the effort she is putting out for such a niche category. I totally get your sentiment for the Guerlain powders. I finished mine after I don't even know how many years. They last forever! I kept the packaging because it's just so beautiful. I'm sure you could repurpose them if you really wanted to! Plus they're powder, technically... there's nothing wrong with them if they still work... :)
I was just thinking about your decluttering videos this morning and alas, you've read my mind! Long videos from you are my favourite! I saved this for later as this is a perfect accompaniment as I'm just about to do laundry. 😄
There is something so therapeutic about your declutter videos. I am a hoarder and have such a hard time getting rid of makeup and clothes even if they are expired. I know that spf expires but is there any other downside in using an expired product? Oh, I also try not use expired eyeliners or mascara as I worry about getting an eye infection.
Great inspiration. I would love to see an episode about makeup and skincare logistics - how to find expiration dates, how to organize, budget tiers, high low combos or comparisons. ❤️⭐️
You have the best declutter videos!!! Ill watch for 6 hours anytime!! Cant wait for part two!! Thanks for sharing your collection with us. Thanks for making my Sunday!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
These declutter videos are very useful. This took me a week to watch, but it is so peaceful. Thank you for going through this trouble on camera TWICE. You reminded me that I actually need to look into a face palette. I have recently realized, that I am annoyed to take small easily carried bits with me - there's just too many items to pack! If I need to pack makeup for later on the day, because I'll be out all day, but because of physical activities or sun-screen re-applying I can't leave the house all dolled up, I just wish to grab and pack that one palette that has everything. Maybe you'll consider a top 10 face palettes video? :D
Oooooh I loooove your decluttering videos. Perfect holiday tradition. I’m not at the point where I can buy a lot of luxury but I love learning about the brands through you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉
I still have my precious Chanel Golden Sun. Lancome Miel Glaze is a little lighter and peachier...but close. Lancome Mocha Havana blush is a little darker and neutral. I blend the two Lancomes together. Chantecaille appears to have discontinued their powder bronzers. Only Sunstone (limited edition) is available. We shall see what they do for spring.
Love these declutter videos! Reminds me of (my) old favourites! I don't mind if you use products, that are no longer available. Hurts me to see when you part with so many of your favourites just because we can't get them any more. Those who follow you probably own many of these products and are inspired to use them again!
Just hold onto your guerlain meteorite powders. You are allowed to be a collector of what you want to collect. I collect fountain pens. They are completely useless to everyone else in the world. You are allowed to have one part of your makeup be for you even as a beauty youtuber. Step 1. Take care of yourself. You can't take care of others unless you have taken care of yourself. Don't give up something you love just because strangers on the internet can't buy it.
I’m wondering if I should throw out my old meteorites since the new formulation has cleaner ingredients. I did purchase the holiday and the classic meteorites for this reason. Is anyone else dumping the old pearls?
I collect fountain pens too. I grew up using them and have some favorites for daily use and others just because. Cheers! I also keep some very special makeup pieces that’ll remain unused, but I love them because they’re beautiful. Notably the old Chanel Coromandel face palette - it’s simply gorgeous! I wish I could do likewise with lipsticks but oil based products get too smelly, so no go. I think nail polishes are good forever. :))
@bettybbags. Look up a staph infection and avoid clean makeup and skincare. Clean means no effective safe preservative to protect you. It is a fear mongering marketing gimmick and dangerous. Parabens are safe topically and the safest most well studied cosmetic preservatives. All studies that say they are dangerous involved injecting higher doses than you would be exposed to in your entire lifetime directly into small mammals like rabbits, cats, beagles, and capuchin monkeys. Those studies are bad science and were designed to get the bad results they got in order to fear monger. Those studies tortured a bunch of animals in order to brainwash a generation of consumers to create a fear based new market niche.
Happy holidays! I just found you and very much enjoyed your declutter! I appreciated your more diverse collection. Some brands I haven’t heard of, was nice not to just see the same ole’s. I look forward to exploring your past posts and future content. Thank you for a very relaxing video.
I use small round white dot stickers from Office Depot, write month and year of each new product on them & stick them on every product before I put in my makeup/skincare drawers. For small or round items I add a tiny piece of scotch tape. It’s been amazing because now when I think something isn’t that old, I know for certain! If it doesn’t have a sticker I know it’s at least 2 yrs old (which is when I started doing this). Highly recommend.
Discovered this late, it's late here in NL/EU, watched a third part now, but was i waiting for this, yes!!! I love to know what you loved the most and the WHY!!!😍Gonna watch every other following minute of these declutters the coming week!!! Thanks dear Michele!!!❤
Now that you have decluttered, an idea would be to use one or two of the least used products in your looks going forward to figure out if you still like them.
Be sure and try the Estee Lauder ReNutriv foundation. I think it is one of the best for dry skin. Beautiful finish also. I am curious to know what you will think about it.
Hi , please try the Easter Lauder re nutriv I have been looking at it for ages and with the price it would be disaster if a choose the wrong shade with the price as I have have been using the re nutriv line skin care for over a year and my skin is gorgeous, so the next move is makeup so I would love your opinion , thank you .i am using Tom Ford at the moment and I must admit I love it. I collect Estée Lauder powder compacts they are 1930’s age range , but sadly I have had to stop !! But I do have a meteorite powder pot which I adore ! And the scent is beautiful.
Guerlain Meteorites are the best!! They are a must keep for me. I only wish I had purchased all of the limited edition ones. I am so enjoying this long video! Thank you for sharing. 💕💕💕💕
The Violette FR cheek stick in Aissa is great for a winter-red flush on cheeks and lips. It doesn’t take much. I have very fair skin and one small dot per cheek and a quick swipe on the lips is perfect. Formulas that are transparent tend to be a little more workable on both ends of the skin tone spectrum.
Hi dear Michele, i watched the rest, wow, i just love these video's so much, and the explanation of the products, as i earlier said, the WHY about a product: keep or go, but i love that you explain each and every product for us, thank you so much!!!👏🤩🎄❤
I love my Gucci cheek cream to powder blush (I bought the red shade). Such an interesting formula and very pretty on the cheeks. No one talked about them (my guess) because they were sold out for so long after launch. I happened upon one in Sephora and grabbed it. The sales associate laughed at me because I was clutching to my chest. And now they discontinued them. Grrrr.
Love these year-end videos❤ I am wondering how are your products organized by drawer? For example, I organize my foundations according to level of coverage; my blushes & bronzers according to formula…then they are organized alphabetically.
I'm super impressed! I just have one question, will you come and declutter my closet?? I think I'm going to need a bulldozer! Great job, Michele. You must feel a great sense of accomplishment!❤❤👏👏
Is the loose Ko Gen Do powders the best one? I alomost ordered it but, I wasn’t sure if it is worth the money. Anybody else wishing they were Michelle’s neighbor or BFF? 🙋♀️
I chuckle when you get to certain products that you adore. The products might not be sold anymore. They may even be technically expired. It is irrelevant because these products are staying. ❤️
I love mishmas and I always look forward to your yearly declutter 😅 it inspires me to do the same haha, be sure to try the Estée Lauder foundation it made into my yearly faves 🥹❤️
Miracle Balms are best used sparingly tapped into skin. Let sink in. If too oily lightly set with a powder and use a touch to highlight cheeks. Happy hour or the one you tossed is a good highlight
Hi everyone! Thanks for tuning in today! I am asked often what I do with unused makeup. Because I get a lot of PR which I can’t and wouldn’t sell, I donate it or give to friends and family. ❤
DECLATTERING LIPSTICK 😁😁😁😁
Can I be one of your friends?
Right! That’s the list I want to be on!!
as one of your loyal viewers, i would happily receive donations from you, juuuust saying :P happy mishmas!
Keep those Guerlaine powders, they are like little works of art!
Looooooove a thorough declutter! Also love when manufacturers put expiration dates on the product packaging. Way easier than guessing how old products are!
So I am looking at mine, because I didn't realize some of them had that now.
a 2 hour declutter?? this is the best christmas gift.
I adore your declutter videos! You inspire me to go through my collection, but it’s also like you’re giving speed reviews of all of the products you have. ❤
I absolutely love your declutter videos! I can't explain it, but it's so satisfying! 😂
I agree! Usually i watch on 1.5x speed or skip products, but not here! 😂🎉
Yes. So satisfying and don’t know why 😅
It feels like you are there with her. Talking at the screen like yeah, throw that out or no - don't toss or give that away... or is that just ME?? lol
@@BrownGirlBella Yes! Half the fun is seeing if she'll throw out what I predicted! The other half of the fun is that I'm an organization freak... so I love seeing the clean drawers! LOL

Declutter and 2 hours? I'm in 😊
oh my goodness i’ve been waiting for this years!! i always rewatch the old declutters in awe of your collection! thank you for another gem
It’s cold and snowing here and nothing better than a cozy cup of tea in the Mishmas mug while I sit down to watch 2.5 hours of declutter goodness!❤
I write on the bottom of products with a sharpie to remind myself when I got it if I have a backup of something…..helps a lot!
genius!
I love a good old declutter video. Satisfying to watch, but also play in the background when I’m busy doing chores or getting ready. The ultra long form content means uninterrupted beauty talk to take my mind off things!
Declutters and Hauls are my favorite kind of videos-especially of luxury products-Woot! Woot! 🎉.
would also love to see brushes and perfume declutters!
Absolutely love your declutter videos... no one does a declutter like you do... thank you

Hi Michele, what would be your favorite concealer and your favorite skin tint and/or foundation?
Hello Michele, I find this so relaxing. Soothing. I think it’s the familiarity of your voice. Much love from England!
I used to always use Dr Jart bb creams! Brings me back. Havent used in so long, I need to get.

the bobbi brown, the yellow one is primer for face and the white one is primer for eyes!!:)
I love declutters and that you’re actually commenting on the products 👍
You are so good at decluttering😂
WELL DONE, MICHELLE!👏👏☺️
Here Sephora does carry Jill Stuart products and i love them too.
I found my Chanel golden sun(it still has a scent!) and it really looks like the Lancôme one
I'm super impressed! I just have one question, will you come and declutter my closet?? I think I'm going to need a bulldozer!
Great job, Michele. You must feel a great sense of accomplishment!❤❤👏👏
Thank you for this excellent video to help see things up close. I was especially happy to see the Chanel Fraise stick which I was never able to find.

I would love to see a review of the Re-Nutriv foundation by Estee Lauder. ❤
Your Chantecaille blush! Oh no!!! I have that blush. Hopefully, mine will stay intact. Thank you for sharing your declutter!

If you aren’t going to use the meteorites is there something else you could repurpose the containers for to keep the packaging at least?
