How to Prepare for Acting Courses (Drama School, Short Courses, etc!)

In September I will be starting a Masters in Musical Theatre at Drama School and I thought I'd let you all know what I'm doing now to prepare for that, as well as things I've learnt from doing other short or part time courses and workshops in the past.
I hope this is helpful for anyone about to start a course in acting or musical theatre, whether it's just a one day workshop or a full time degree!

What a good video. You put it over so well. One of the best on this channel. People need to know what a hard industry it is, both physically & mentally. Applying yourself fully to each task will be very rewarding..

Thank you! Yes I totally agree - I scare myself so often thinking about how difficult the industry is, and all you can do is work as hard as you can at it and stay positive. All too often I see people focus on the 'stay positive' element and not properly go into just how hard you do need to work to even be in with a chance! It's good to be positive, but sometimes a reality check can be very helpful too!
