      If there is a physical NIU store in your city, they could help you connect to the app. There is one here in North Park San Diego where I just bought my new 3 Max and a guy had just had his computer module replaced because of a bad Bluetooth in it.

    I bought my KQi2 Pro for $430, 14 months ago and have put over 400 miles on it. I use it a lot in my neighborhood to run errands and it has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend it. It is very well built, reliable and has good range. Perfect for commuters and students.
    I just bought the KQi3 Max because I want more range and the extra speed is useful. The brakes are powerful. The 2 Pro has good brakes but the 3 Max are almost too good because it locks up a lot. I think I’m still getting used to it.
    They all go on sale frequently. The 3 Pro sells for $749 on sale and the 3 Max for $799. For $50 more, the 3 Max is the much better value.

      Hey! I'm looking to buy the Kqi2pro and I've heard a lot about it's build quality.. but what do you think about the area near the front wheel.. at the bottom of the stem, basically where the Base goes around the stem. So I saw a kqi2 in my neighbourhood and at that specific area, I see the base that goes around the stem has a striped joint. And that person's scooter was basically unaligned at that joint. I wish I could send a picture of it to show what I mean. That didn't seem like a very good design choice but I'm not sure..

    As someone who's at the top of the weight limit for the 3 Pro/Max (down from 390lbs at my heaviest), I feel the 100 watts of power in the Max is absolutely necessary for me. I would love to see a version with a suspension and dual motors (either dual 350 or 450); something that's comfortable and a confident hill-climber. Seems like the market goes from single 500 watt to dual 1000 watt beasts with no reasonable in between.

    Not happy with my NIU! the tire inflator extension they give you doesn't work on the rear tire, and after trying to get it to work over and over, the tire no longer holds air. I also hit a bump and it shut off indefinitely, and displays an error code as well. My NIU is now in pieces. It also refused to get off of e-save mode and literally flashes it when i was actually using the scooter. Sometimes it would appear it was in e-save mode, other times it just said it was, but, as others have reported, it may not actually be in e-save mode. It also does not go above 20mph for me even after unlocking the max speed. I have a $250 dollar scooter that hits 21mph. I wrote to NIU, nothing back. Will never buy from them again.

    • @unloveableandre
      @unloveableandre Рік тому

      I have a 3 Max, the flashing e-save is stupid but it's normal. You're using custom mode, with whatever speed you set as maximum. That makes the e-saves blinking thing. The scooter has 3 modes: e-save, sport, and custom. When you enable custom, you cannot jump from e-save to sport and vice-versa
      Max speed on display is 22 mph. And range is way below 40 miles. I am a 160 lbs rider.

      Depends on the price you re gonna pay.. , in spain unlimited kqi 2 pro reachs 28km/h , is nice , a little bit more than the legal thing ( 25km h) but still safe and cops will not say anything.. with the other one you can reach 32kmh
      I paid 390€ for my Kqi 2 pro a year ago and Im still happy with it

    KQI3 Nice scooter. solid and fun. But, try getting it fixed when something goes wrong. Good Luck! No repair shop will touch them. I had mine 6.5 months. Back tire had multiple cracks so a plug wouldn't work. DON'T PURCHASE ONE !!

    Got the KQi 3 Max one month ago. Not happy with ride quality. Tested scooters eith duas motor and suspension, and it's hard to go back. Tried to return it but NIU limits the window to 10 miles. If you ride more than 10 miles, done, not eligible for returns. Not happy with that as well. So, I cannot recommend the brand.

      How can you expect a single motor scooter with no suspension to beat one with dual motors and suspension? How much did the dual motors and suspension scooters cost compared to the Pro? You have unrealistic expectations. SMH.

      I think the KQi3 max is grewt for a single motor non suspensiom scooter under 1k. Id say its the best in that category. Build quality is amazing and the ride is great.

      @@lexg1455 I agree 100%. The NIU scooters are built like a tank and feel like an actual vehicle rather than a toy. Incredible value for the money - it's like they're practically giving these things away!
      I hope they eventually produce a higher end scooter with suspension, dual motors and bigger battery.

      @@thevoiceofreason4104 Hey! I'm looking to buy the Kqi2pro and I've heard a lot about it's build quality.. but what do you think about the area near the front wheel.. at the bottom of the stem, basically where the Base goes around the stem. So I saw a kqi2 in my neighbourhood and at that specific area, I see the base that goes around the stem has a striped vertical joint. And that person's scooter was basically unaligned at that joint. I wish I could send a picture of it to show what I mean. That didn't seem like a very good design choice but I'm not sure..
