My good friend from California met Eric in the early 90s, when Grunge took over, and he said Eric Martin is one of the most down-to-earth people he had ever met. Actually hung out with and talked, and he never forgot being treated as an equal by a guy who had hit songs and played in big rock bands. To me, Eric Martin is my generations Paul Rodgers really: one of the best voices. I played in bands in the late 80s, although I was more of a classic rock/hippie, but Eric's voice is a Top 10 of any time/genre.
