    Nitpicky request: put the course title in the UA-cam video title (currently it just says "1. 14.13 Introduction and Overview" which isn't very informative when it appears in YT recommendations.)

    I really cringe when students say: "They behave with irrational and logical thoughts..." instead of saying "We humans behave irrational and justify with logical thoughts".
    Those students think they're aliens or something?

    • @tvinforest5255
      @tvinforest5255 3 роки тому +7

      Humans are subject of a study. The goal is to be conscious about biases, thereof you disassociate with the symptom. People tend to turn their heads away from the punch and close eyes, THEY tend to have a lazy jab - but you - you shouldn't. Maybe this is the reason?

    • @dmwalker24
      @dmwalker24 3 роки тому +2

      I think you're right. If I say, "Humans are often irrational with unstable preferences" I need to know that I'm included in that criticism. Can't identify personal bias without self-awareness.
