Completely agree. I tend to stay interested and actually watch what’s going on with things they actually like and enjoy play. Whereas on things they’re just playing to play, I tend to keep it on as background and don’t really watch it.
I like a good mix personally. The Sonic games have been a riot of laughter. And Arin hates playing them. Then there's the great ShovelWere games that are always funny. Then they have the solid playthroughs like Bloodborne. All great shit for me. I should rewatch that Bloodborne playthrough actually.

It always amazes me how many people don't realize this! To answer Dan's question at the beginning about why some dead people don't turn into zombies: the T virus doesn't actually reanimate the dead, those people are still alive. It does cause necrosis though so they look like corpses. If you die before you turn, you won't become a zombie though That's the lore explanation at least. I think the gameplay breaks this rule sometimes. In RE2 a cop gets chewed in half from a zombie eating him as a shutter closes on him, he shouldn't turn but he does

To answer Dan's question at the beginning about why some dead people don't turn into zombies: the T virus doesn't actually reanimate the dead, those people are still alive. It does cause necrosis though so they look like corpses. If you die before you turn, you won't become a zombie though
That's the lore explanation at least. I think the gameplay breaks this rule sometimes. In RE2 a cop gets chewed in half from a zombie eating him as a shutter closes on him, he shouldn't turn but he does

Annoyingly, you can't sneak past them in this section. They don't wander at all and come straight towards you no matter how quiet you are.
