I did the final day of the Peak Sightseer bus yesterday; had a ride out to Castleton & walk up to Peveril Castle. Wore my knight costume at the castle & kept my coif on for the open top. Only one of the buses on each route was an open top; it was Scania 15717 on the blue route. Rode it through to Baslow then back out to Hathersage for a walk and a pint. 3 different buses; my outward journey was on normal Stagecoach bus 15829; my journey from Castleton was on the open top bus. Returned to Chesterfield on the Trident 18467 running off from the Red route.
