Courtney, I took out my snc yesterday for the first time in 2 years😮. I scanned my deign and put in my fabric mat. The snc refused to recognize the mat and asked me to unload. I tried several times and it wouldn’t work. I have the correct mat for my dx model. Any ideas? Ps …I love your shows❤!
I really recommend getting a fabric mat. The standard mat isn't sticky enough to hold the fabric down without modifying it with a high tack support sheet which also isn't optimal. Hope that helps!
I find that layer cakes work perfect on scan n cut mats.

Did you put SF101 on back of fabrics? Or did you use Material Magic!
I used terial magic which will wash out. If you wanted the stiffness to stay to give it structure sf101 would work amazingly. - Courtney

Hi make sure the corners of your mat are not bent. Try turning the machine off and back on. Hopefully that helps. - Courtney
