Also, on the set of Da Mystery of Chessboxin, he had on a different mask when Fab 5 Freddy interviewed them for Yo! MTV Raps. At the end of the interview outside, Method Man was wearing the white ninja mask completely covering his face that he also wore in the music video. I just thought he was paying homage to the day 1 material and to the day one fans like me that liked that they all used to rock those stalking caps inspired by the ninjas from the martial art films which led to one of the most iconic album covers of alll time; and that specific one with the white around the head with the black part of the mask where the face is the exact kind he had on for the video. When they performed at the Jack the Rapper convention in 1993, MULTIPLE members kept the stalking caps on during the Wu-Tang Clan ain't nuthin ta f Wit song, which inspired Danny Hastings to use those stalking caps on their album cover. I know this seems so trivial, but for us, it's been such a hard road since Dirty passed; and have been just hoping for hints whether attire or music that is reminiscent of the early work. As a whole and on the solo tip, they have released plenty of great stuff; but this extra part in this video, as strange as it seems, was so damn cool to see.
@Railfan93 facts. Loved those masks from the Chessboxin video. I believe Meth donned one for that video as well. I still have Wu Wear that I bought in the 90s. Less than half of what I owned back then, but there's still a couple hoodies in my closet.
