Yes, DPR Ian, DPR +IAN, Christian Yu, and (formerly) Rome of C-CLOWN are all the same person. The mini documentaries are worth checking out.
This is gonna be long but bare with me. DPR is an independent label Ian is the CEO but everyone in DPR started the label togheter and they have their roles which are:
Ian/Christian Yu/Yu Barome/Rome, many names I know, he's the creative director, chief editor and he directs and edits all their work he does have an assistant named John. He is Australian born and raised he moved to SK bc of his love of dancing, he has tutorials on YT breakdancing, so he ended up being part and leader of a kpop bg CClown disbanded in 2015..
DPR Live/Hong Dabin is the guy you were talking about he is the celebrity of the group, he's a rapper please check out his songs too
DPR Rem/Scott who is the producer of DPR he is also managing a LOT of the work and he doesnt get enough credit in my opinion..
DPR Cream is the music producer also one of DPR artist and yes he helps making a lot of DPR music and this guy is a genius!
DPR Cline/Jimmy who is the sweetest guy and does a lot of the behind work.
Now MITO is short for Moodswings in this order and its Ian's 1st album, MITO is also the name of the dark, one eye missing CHARACTER that represents the dark side of his disorder( not alter ego he is not dissociating), Scardy Cat is an other character, his album took the longest to make bc its very personal to Ian it explains his struggles with his bipolar disorder its also to raise awareness for mental health thats why the mvs should be seen in the order they came out bc the whole album tells the story. Also Moodswings in this order can be Moodswings disorder Scott came up with that, genius!

Dream Perfect Regime is an audiovisual arts collective, and just some friends working together on their dreams. Very roughly… Live's usually done vocals and rap, Cream produced the instrumental, Ian directed and edited videos, Rem managed the process and designed merch. They are independent, with their initial funds from working on projects for/with other artists.
dpr means dream perfect regime, there are a couple dpr artists live dpr live, dpr cream and dpr ian. All of their music have AMAZING production, i really recommend dpr live songs. True artists.

@@LKTVLKTV yeah!! Christian is his full name but he shortens it to Ian (or +Ian for his stage name), which is why the bit at the beginning of the videos says visuals are by +Ian. And it’s inverted on his videos because it’s like he’s looking at the camera from the other side. He directs all of DPR’s MVs, so you should definitely check out Color Drive by DPR Cream and basically anything by DPR Live, they’re all art and no DPR artist ever makes a bad song, I don’t think they know how.
Tbh I found your channel and subscribed to your Patreon via your A.C.E content but I’m so happy you’re delving into DPR too, literally my 2 favourite groups of artists, made my day 😊
This comes a bit late but DPR is basically a team full of artists (whether it be music or visuals). After DPR they add the name of the specific artist within the group that is behind the song like DPR IAN, DPR LIVE or DPR CREAM. Before this, Ian/Christian (same person) would just direct and edit the music videos for the rest of DPR but hadn't released any music himself. Thank god he started doing music again and blessed us with this amazing body of work. I also cannot imagine how hard it must be to act, direct and edit your own music video all at the same time. Crazy talented.

If you watch DPR LIVE before DPR IAN, you'll understand what they're doing and their passion.
Thank you for reacting to his works all in one go! And of course the visual is going to be gorgeous because it was ian himself who directed it, I believe he already has the visual in his head when he created the songs. And he’s always been talking about mental health, the whole album is talking about that. MITO, the character that appears in black and white scene is his on his lows, like everyone’s been saying too, you can check his documentary to get more ideas about the backstory :D
And like someone already mentioned, the only missing piece to see here is CL’s 5 star ;D (you may want to re-check so beautiful after that to spot the similar set and scenes, and who knows... maybe connects the dots?)

u havent reacted to his best works yett! Legacy and Kiss Me + Neon by dpr live are probably the best music videos that he directed and edited. Dpr live is a hella talented guy.
As I understand CL 5Star, Ian So beautiful and No blueberries have one story line. May be Nerves too I don't know. But in this 3 MVs you can see similar locations and references to each other. Just watch 5Star and then rewatch this two MV, I think it's break-up story line.

I just got back from the dpr concert and I'm still so on a high I had to watch reaction videos to share the feelings haha Nerves was my favorite performance, it's sooooo good live! Christian is one of the best performers I have ever seen
