I would say you have a high and low selector on there somewhere

'Watch Wes Work' is repairing an Oliver crawler with steering clutch issues. Two or three videos out now. I think it is the same OC-4.

I think I need to pull the transmission this next spring. I've been watching his videos to get an idea of what needs done. I was going to pull the brake bands and reline them while I had it a part. It has a transversal aux trans that needs rebuilt.

Does that tractor have steering clutches? They made the OC-4 both ways, right?

This one has the lined brake bands for steering. I think later years used steering clutches.

It turns very slightly to somewhat sharply depending on how far back you pull the brake lever, but not nearly as sharply as one with steering clutches where you can stop powering one track or the other.

It is a bit fast, makes it harder to be precise (not to mention lack of experience). I'm going to be using it this afternoon on a tiny landscape project that I might put a video of up later.

Best way to fix the driveway is the tractor & box blade. Sorry just trying to help.

That takes away the fun. A farmall cub with a belly grader blade is fun to operate.

Exactly. I tilt it forward to cut and drag, tilt it back to smooth and finish.

The other day I had to get the hd5 out to cut a section deeper than I normally would with the cub. But then finished with the cub.
